I hear so much talk about it but I'm weary about picking it up..

What do ya do, and I hear about sending things to people?

Erm, can anyone explain this to me <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

I don't have it yet, but I'm also confused about how the trading system works, since it's without a modem. Can anyone explain this to me?

It's real simple.

When you play, and find items, you can create codes for them by asking Nook. You'll give him the name and town name of whoever you want to trade with, he gives you a long, annoying NES-style password (GODDAMN I THOUGHT WE'D KILLED THESE) which you write down and then give to your friends. Pretty innovative really.

This would have been much cooler as a networked game though, and needs keyboard support too.

The trading system is like when you decided to give an item to your buddy, a password will be generated and you let your buddy know, then he can go to someone called Tom Nook (?) and tell that guy the password, and you'll get the item.

Hey Anak, I was a bit scared to plunk down the cash for this game, but once you get past the "N64" graphics it actually very fun.

Now I get to live my dream of being a fashion and interior designer.

I'll be selling my new fall collection of coutour Animal Crossing clothes.

SSSSSSSSSuper!
