I'm buying a new 19" Mitsubishi display for my PC, so I'm thinking about getting a VGA BOX for my PS2 too. I've seem many different models and I wondered which one is the best. Any ideas? Does exist a VGA BOX that works with different consoles? (Neo AES, PS2 and GameCube).
Please notice that I'm from Spain so I would need a both NTSC/PAL VGA BOX.

One friend told me that REDANT is a great VGA BOX for the PS2:

But today I've found this multi-system VGA BOX:

<a href="http://www.merconnet.com/pc/universalvgabox.html" target="_blank">Universal VGA BOX</a>

Please, does anybody know which is the best product?

Thanks.

To be honest, VGA for the current next-gen consoles isn't a good option. From what I've read, PS2 looks horrible on VGA and the X-Box doesn't looks so hot either. (But keep in mind all that was from IGN and Team X-Box articles and reviews).

Anyhow, I'd go for the REDANT VGA box since it's actually for the PS2 instead of that 3-in-1 VGA box...you can never tell how it'll look if you try it on a GameCube or X-Box...

Just my opinion...but the DC still remains the king of the VGA world as far as I'm concerned. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

But what would give better image quality if I want to plug my PS2 to my PC monitor? VGA BOX or TV TUNER cards like AVerMedia or Pinnacle?

Ok, if you really want the best PS2 VGA box, buy an XRGB2+ and use it in conjunction with an RGB cable for the PS2.

The results are STUNNING

Uhmmm... Thanks, that sounds interesting. :)
Can you please provide me some more info about this setup? Does it work with PAL consoles? Do you have any link with tech and shopping info?

EDIT: And please, does anybody know the quality of using a TV Tuner like Pinnacle PCTV?
