to anyone who i converse with via email

i just had a brief outbreak of the
sircam virus.
i guess i caught it at a good time...
after all my aplications stoped working
i was fortunate enough that it did not
affect my internet explorer
i was able to go to http://www.symantec.com
and download the 75k little worm deleter.
i m checking my documents and programs right
now..
the only confusing thing is i dont remember
ever dl anything for awhile or opening any
strange emails with attachments.
anyways.
please if you have received any emails
with any attachments it wasnt sent by me.
disregard it and delete it.

if you do have any problems i suggest going

and downloading there quick fix.

What version of IE are you using? If I remember correctly, Sircam isn't spread solely via e-mail attachments, and can infect clients that connect to a sircam infested web server. The vulnerability that makes Sircam a threat has been fixed in later versions of IE, I believe.

i have IE5 i believe
or 5.5 if im not making that up.
was going to dl 6 but it takes awhile
with my slow connection.
i havent been any place strange can remember
recently. ive been pretty busy working and
this place and my email have been the few
places i have checked.
