According to GamerWeb, a reputable Microsoft Rep has reported that "PSO will be out in the US sometime in November 2002, although no exact date is known at this time. If that doesn't get you excited wait to you hear this...there would NOT be any additional fees (other than your LIVE subscription) to play any online game in North America, including PSO....(This of course does not include charges for any premium content that would be in addition to standard gameplay.)"

I never thought PSO would cost, since all online games are on Micrsoft servers, they did that so the game makers wouldn't have to worry about setting up their own shit. Thats the main reason all the DC games that came here dropped online play, the makers didn't wanna spend the money and time on the servers.

If it did cost, that would mean sega was using its own server, and would totally defeat the purpose of Xbox Live.

Hmm free PSO, with voice chat, keyboard (confirmed by sega), hard drive for new shit, AND broadband only. Sure beats the hell out of the buggy GC version, with 56k laggers running around, a gameshark already out, and no voice support. Plus spending $$ on the GC modem and monthley fee for ONE game.
