yea, brmc is pretty cool, im into more punk, but i have a record of them, it only has like 4 songs, but there good.

First off- Fran! You finally took my advice and checked out the Strokes? Yee har!

Secondly- Yeah Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is a great band, I've seen 'em play twice.

But there's more good yank bands besides! (Not many, but some...)

Like:

'Sparklehorse': They've got this song called 'Gold Days' that is a real fucking gem. On the level of Starsailor. If you can find the MP3 of 'Gold Days' check it out.

'And You Will Know us By The Trail Of Dead': Yeah- that's their name, I know it's wacky. A great, pretty hardcore rock band.

'The Shins': Great band with great songs

'Mercury Rev': Another real good band

'Ivy': Great, artsy pop band with really cool female vocals and great songs

Oh, and don't expect many of my fellow yanks to even know what you're talking about Fran... You know why there are hardly any good American bands? Because we have shite taste in music.

Linkin Park is... bah. it's the new crap-metal/rap shit that's leaking out of every musical orifice in this country. that australian dude has a good voice though. too bad their music sucks.

Korn is just plain overrated.

and Wimp Triscuit... nah...

and as for the typing thing... i like the way he types, it's easier to read! and it separates each of his thoughts. Too many people whine and complain, just get used to it.
