Is Vice City really tough, or is it just me?

Almost seems that the difficulty in this one picks up where the last one left off...

I didn't spend to much time on the original (GTA3), but I find myself getting wasted pretty regularily on the missions.

Any all-purpose hints?

Vice City isnt that hard but it does take some practice.

It hasnt been too bad. The one thing I noticed is that going to the paint shop only puts your status on hold and does not remove stars for a good minute or so. Kind of stinks but then again, I like a game with Challenge. THe police are shooting at you with two stars which seems awfully quick. Other then that, the only other gripe I have is that if you get two stars, it takes forever for it to go down to one star if you hide out from the cops.

I can't do the "mess with the man" mission for the biker gang dudes. It's hard. I've been doing some side missions and I unlocked the ultimate vehicle for getting 100 packages, its real cool. I don't want to spoil it for you just incase you didnt get it yet.

The difficulty changes,Some missions are easy but others get really hard.
(I like this game)I can relate to this time period.
I try to create other less obvious ways to complete a mission.Patience is a must with the hard missions.I do drive around a lot and get chased so I can get the feel of the game before I try a Mission.
I also will try to go to someone else and complete their mission first,then come back and try the hard again.
Did you pass the RC plane bombing the Cubans mission yet.
I also save after every mission,but I don't use the cheats until the second time I play through the game.

the RC plane bombing mission was very easy. There are many different ways to go about a mission, for example, in the cop land mission, i went in with a cop car and got wasted trying to escape, so the second time through i used a helicopter and got away without a scratch. You have to think to survive.

If anything, I'm just sick of reloading the game because I keep dying/failing... Driving to get the job, and then driving to the job over and over is starting to get to me. The difficulty wouldn't bother me otherwise.

I haven't had too much trouble with it yet, but then again...I'm not that far.

I haven't found the difficulty to be challenging yet...but I know it will pick up like the later missions in GTA III
