Personally, I put them into NGH Cart Number order, with Majong Kyoretsuden at the front, and Real Bout Special at the end (well I don't have many of the newer cart releases :D

I arrange all of my carts in alphabetical order. Same thing goes for the rest of my games.

My NGH carts are by category. All KOF's together along with all other fighters. Then all shooters, then action, then sports.

My NGCD and NGPC games are all just thrown together in random order :o

In order of release.

That way when you are explaining the neo to someone else you can show them the progression of how the graphics have gotten better ect.ect...

I first categorize them by genre, then by series (alphabetically).

I just throw mine on the floor and leave them where ever they land buttrock

Seriously though..... I tend to stack mine [MVS] according to genre ,or just put the games I play the most on the top of the stacks so I dont have to dig.

My games are generally arranged in the order I bought them, just turns out that way. I tried organizing them once, but then I couldn't find any of the games I wanted easily :)

By game series.
I do this with my mvs carts, HC's and cd's. I think it makes it easier for me to access what I want to play, and since I an almost 100% reliant on fighters neo wise, I always have many options of what to play.

In order of playing preference only.

But then again, my "collection" consists totally of big boxes just thrown around everywhere...

I do have series grouped together, KOF, SS, Fatal Fury etc...

But they are not in any order. Random genres all over the place.

I group cart colors together. Also, original English labeled carts are put on the side of the other carts (you can see what I mean in my collections pics im my sig).

I first start by seperating all the carts into seperate Genres. Then the Genres are catergorized by alphabetical order. Inside each Genre, games are organized by series and each complete series is alphabetized. Complete series go at the front of each Genre and then the rest of the games in said genre are arranged in alphabetical order.

All games are placed inside ziplock bags prior to being organized and sealed with a Daisy Seal-A-Meal to preserve them from the elements. The rack the games are sitting on is built from steel and coated with a rust resistant treatment. This rack sites inside a room that has 3 foot thick concrete walls, reinforced with steel and then the inside of the room is lined with lead. The floor is pressure sensitive to my weight and if the weight on the floor differs from my weight in either direction by 5 pounds, the alarm goes off alerting local authorities and gassing the entire area with knockout gas. The pressure sensitive floor stays armed at all times.

The room features a sound level meter that is sensitive to more than a whisper. Also a fancy array of laser trip lines that circle around the room in non pattern segments help to secure the safety of the contents of the room while security is active. The door to the room resembles a typical high profile bank style vault door and is also 3 foot thick of reinforced Steel, Titanium and other non disclosure materials. Inside the door is air pressure sensors that detect the pressure inside the door versus the room and hall way leading up to the room. If the pressure inside the door varies by more than 10%, alarms go off. This is useful if someone tries to drill through the door.

To open the door a combination of retinal scan, hand print and voice print identification is needed. Also a seperate password that is a minimum of 16 characters long is needed. The entire hallway is lined with non pattern specific moving laser trip lines just like inside the room along with the same pressure sensitive floor. The only way that the hallway security can be deactived is if the elevator leading to the hallway is at the bottom of the elevator shaft. The only access to the hallway is from the single elevator that goes to the surface in a undisclosed location. The elevator shaft is filled with knockout gas and while the elevator is moving up and down the shaft, there is a net of laser trip lines that turn off and on and as the elevator passes by. The only way to get into the elevator is by passing though a blood test analysis device that requires you to insert one finger into it.

The game vault room and hallway is 1 mile below the surface of the earth and has its own backup generators in case of power failure or attempted tampering. Only 1 route inside and out.
