Best light gun game of all time??

I would have to go for Crisis Zone. I mean it brought in the idea of Time Crisis, but you got a machine gun with 30 bullets. No more 4 bullet wimpiness. Plus, you could virtually shoot up all the surrouding. Even though not the most graphically impressive game when compared to these days, it still looks pretty good and 60 fps makes up for the graphics. I only wish it was 2 player. <img src="graemlins/drool2.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool 2]" />

Anyone else have any thoughts on the best light gun game??

House of the Dead 2. No question.

(Although Duck Hunt would definitely be second on my list). :)

Sunsoft's FREEDOM FORCE for the NES.

Best and most played Light Gun game I've ever owned. Nothing else compares, well, except for the coin op version of Taito's SPACE GUN...that game ruled!!

Best lightgun?

Silent Scope (Arcade)

followed by...

the twin MAC-10s from OPERATION THUNDERBOLT (Arcade)

then I'd say the *Time Crisis* GUNCON

Arcade: It's a tie for me between Crisis Zone and Silent Scope. Crisis Zone was a blast for all the reasons s7c listed, plus it reminded me of Gunblade NY. Silent Scope was a really innovative game, sadly the only time I ever was able to play it was on a channel ferry so it wasn't exactly easy to get that pinpoint accuracy you need.

Console: So many good games, but my all time favorite has to be the shooting portion of Die Hard for the psx. There was plenty of action, variety and weapons.

I'm currently enjoying Hotd3, despite the negative reviews I've seen.

Duct Hunt! One of the greatest NES games today! Also one of my first memories of the NES along with Mario.

But if I had to choose one to play for the rest of my life, HOTD 2 has more meat on it's bones than Duck Hunt.

Heh, I thought you hated that title--you posted that on my thread. I actually thought it was ok too. Since I don't own alot of gun games, I will have to say--Time Crisis series.

Just won Elemental Gearbolt for $22.50 inlc shipping on eBay--must play it.
