Not to question your picks, but you think that Final Fantasy Tactics is the most recognizable video game soundtrack ever?

If you that's cool.

Most Catchy - "That's the way I like It" from Sonic Adventure 2's Metal Harbor stage
Most Recognizable - SF II themes without a doubt (I've definitely heard them more than enough times!)
Best Performed - RPG music period; honorable mention to Soul Edge/Calibur series
Most Underated - Tie between SF Zero 3/CvS series
Most Appropriate - Super Castlevania IV
Best Use Of No Music ( ) - Last Blade series
Personal Favorite (Remixes Included) - OST for the following Mega Man games:

Mega Man I-VII
Mega Man VIII (Saturn version of Tengu Man's theme blows the PSX counterpart away!)
RockMan and Forte
Mega Man X1-X6
Gradius Gaiden OST
Salamander 2 OST

Most Recognizable- Mario Bros. or Mortal Kombat

Best Performed- FF Tactics

Most Underated- Xenogears. People don't notice this game, and if they do, they don't notice the music. It's incredible.

Most Appropriate- Chrono Trigger...everything fit perfectly for me

Personal Favorite- Chrono Trigger, GGX

I thought for a sec..but I'm not sure if Dance Dance Revolution is eligible for this. I mean, it IS music. It's extremely catchy though.

Preach ON!

Xenogears was an awesome game, and the music was freaking incredible. I have plenty of songs from Nobuo Uematsu (final fantasy in particular) and it's just incredible. I have some ochestral and opera redo's of some music from FF6 that is just beautiful. Just incredible, it'll mellow you out no matter how pissed you are.

Peace

There is a really cool song in Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo (or whatever it's called) that you unlock... It's called "I want you to know."
And the intro song to the Japanese Saturn Megaman X4 owns...
And Metal Gear Solid has great music... I like games that are in sync with the music (IE you get caught by a guard and it starts going all fast...)

Let's see...i can't really break it into categories, but i have some personal favorites. How about:

Suikoden
Suikoden 2
chrono trigger
chrono cross
final fantasy 6( i dig it the most )

I honestly could go on forever...There's always at least 1 good song in a videogame when it has music.
