Just wondering if anyone here has a collection where they have like say for example, GI Joe cartoon episodes 1-final recorded. Anything like that.

It'd be cool to have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tape set... or Mighty Max. Mighty Max was the shit. I could watch those episodes forever. Anyone remember cartoons like "Cowboys of Moo Moo West" or "Creepy Crawlers"? Man how cool would it be have open your closet one day and see all the cartoons you ever liked available to you like it fell out of freaking Heaven? ;)

I wouldn't mind having all the "Wonder Years" episodes as well, that show was sweet. "Saved By The Bell" is another one I wouldn't mind having.

All episodes of Transformers G1, including headmasters, victory, and the rest of the Japanese ones (the Japanese ones completely suck compared to the US versions). It all takes up about 12~14 tapes I think, and includes some commercials. heh.

Also have Freakazoid. I think it's the complete run. May be wrong...

Ah!
And all rurouni kenshins burned on CD...

When I was a kid I used to watch GI Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and James Bond Jr.

"Look out he's comin' through. He's got a job to do, while he rescues the girl!

Are they still making new episodes of any of those?

Season one of G.I. Joe is coming onto DVD spring 2003 you should just wait. Season 2 of Transformers is coming onto dvd (actually half of that season) and season 1 is out already. Wasbi is correct Japanese transformers are crap compared to the U.S. ones.

I have an old tape of Rude Dog and the Dweebs. I think it has two episodes on it. I recall the second episode having some problems. I also have the first episode to Ring Raiders, one of the worst 'we have a toy now make a cartoon from it' cartoons I've seen in a while. Which, oddly enough, makes it pretty cool.

I also have some...not-so-cool cartoons I picked up hoping to trade them to one of those collectors in exchange for some Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors or perhaps some Pac-Man. These series include Beverly Hills Teens, which was actually sort of entertaining because I remember it being on in the morning before I went to school beyond that it's sorta a chick cartoon if there's such a thing.

Also a buddy of mine has all of the Popples cartoons on tape, at least I think he does. God, he has a lot of them if not all of them.

We cleaned out a video store that was going out of business and we took whatever we could get in hopes of trading it. Didn't work that well. ha ha ha.

There's a lot of people on the internet with cartoon collections who are usually willing to trade, maybe sell, tapes. They have a lot of cool ass shows but usually you'll see it's mostly mainstream stuff.

I too have a Rude Dog and The Dweebs tape , I think mine only has 2 episodes also ?

It is a real tape , not something recorded off of tv. I think I got it at Block Buster when they first appeared on the west coast.

Hey Kim I remember that episode! All those mindless Zombies falling over the capital building or then her brother Boris OD's on drugs and dies. That was a real kick!

I am a but ashamed for saying this but back in 1998 I went on to collect all 200 Sailor Moon episodes along with the 3 movies and TV special. I haven't watched them since. They are all in raw Japanese (no subtitles) so I could never understand exactly what was going on. I did find a translation on the net but it takes too long to read! :)

The Totaly Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimly, or something to that effect.

That show ruled.

Joe "Count Floyd" Flaherty is from Pittsburgh. I've met him before, funny guy.

"OOOOH! Scary!!!"

I could get into a serious 80's cartoon collection.

I'm down with trading, anyone need some Rude Dog, Beverly Hills Teens or Ring Raiders?

I really enjoyed the Disney Gargoyles show (except for the Saturday Morning Season), and as such, I believe I have every episode recorded. I wish I had used the longer speed for higher quality, but I was young and VHS tapes were "expensive" at the time. Got 'em all off of cable/Satelite so the picture is pretty clear over all.

I'm dead serious. I thought he was Canadian. Apparantly not. I'm tempted to say that he does still live in pghpa. I don't know for sure. I met him years and years ago.

But for a not-so-famous guy he's been in a lot of funny funny stuff.
