I used to visit SNKUSA.com to look at what they had. One day I tried NEO-GEO.com, and ended up here.

Drift King EX, kind of.

I was on DHP, but not erally involved (deleting mails instead of reading them mostly. DKex started corresponding with me by mail and that's it, I came here.

I heard about it on DHP a few times, but never really wanted to come because this was Shawns place, and I often felt he wasn't a real neo geo fan, because he was still a kid compared to me...

Heh, things, attitudes, etc, change.

After the downfall of Neo-Alec's I joined DolphinLord's club, then Dion started posting here, so I had to see what lies he was posting.

Can't remember who recommended here first, but I was told about it by a few people.

People I'd bought MVS stuff from, someone at Gamefaqs, and a couple of people I'd been talking about Neo with online.
Thanks everyone!

I got here because I heard alot about this place from the Evilchris incident that started it all. LordDragon linked me the website.

On the other hand, I came here to see some worthy SNK players in ng.com and new faces.

The first Neo site I found a few years back was Big Bruno's. I believe I emailed him asking a question about where I could get started on Neo stuff, and he was nice enough to help a n00b out. (If you read this thread, thanks Bruno!)

Then I started surfing Alec's site, but I never joined the forums. I also lurked a couple of the mailing lists and whatnot.

I started chatting online with Punjabee, Billkwando, Gui Long and some other cool people, who introduced me to Dolphinlord's Yahoo club. It was sometime in my visits there that I joined up here.

So there you have it..

My last year of college I was trolling ebay looking for something king of fighters related (I just fell in love with the neo again after playing KoF M on DC when it was new). Someone saw my email from ebay, and recruited me to DolphinLord's site. After DolphinLord's site kind of died out, I migrated here.

About 6 months ago i found the site while checking for neo geo related stuff on yahoo but never joined at first as i just use to go to the chatroom where i got friendly with supernaut and mark, then when i saw how many members there were i could not believe it!
I actually thought the neo had died and had not played since 97, but this site got my interest up again and i brought loads of neo stuff and sold all my star wars stuff,
now i regret it as i get bored playing games these days and i doubt i will ever be able to replace my star wars collection, but i think the site is top notch and as i have no telivision receoption where i live, it keeps me occupied

I got a NGPC in summer 2000, and fell in love. I decided to get a Neo CD, and searched the net for info, and I wound up here.

Originally was from On.com (Still there btw.), came over during that merger fiasco. Found some interesting sales in the store (Where I got my Last Blade 2, Metal Slug 3, and Samurai Shodown I & II for my AES from.) and people and still hang out here when I'm not chatting at On.com & MM cafe.

How?

hrmm... interesting story.

Well, in winter of 99, i got my Neo Geo CD 1 speed. God was i thrilled. i loved the thing so much. i had LB2 and i had a boot of KOF 99, cause i was dumb and seller included like, 6 boots anyway. meh, i threw em all away don't worry.

So, a while passes, and i discover that KOF 99 is the LAST game to come out on NGCD in winter 2K. So i looked on ebay for a cart system, and i kept on seeing them and bidding, but got no luck. at all. and at one specific auction i saw "neo-geo.com" in the picture.

i thought it was part of the box, so i figured, Hey must be SNK's old site or something. So i went there, and as a new member here i started posting in the war room, back when the war room was fun. also, i was SHOCKED when i read somewhere that someone screwed over dion by telling his bidders about his "scams".

But time passed, and here i am. yay.

i uh...hmm

well it all started back in the begining of 8th grade (in 9th now)

i met this new kid and he had a ngpc, he sold it to me for $30, complete with motm.

i really liked it, but i still had vague info on this 'snk' and 'kof'

it didnt phase me much. but anyway..

i played a little roms here and there and cvs for dc. i was more hooked

flash forward a few months.

i broke my ankle, i was hauled up in bed all day with nothing to do. i was on the phone with my friend who told me he was getting a ngpc on ebay. so im like, hell, i should get some games for mine.

after looking around ebay i noticed neo home systems and mvs cabs were kinda 'in-expensive' compared to what i previously thought.

i researched it out a bit, and found an mvs cab on ebay. i bought it.

a few days later i was just looking at home stuff on the web, i came to some ngf lovers site, who was prasing dion like he was the second coming or something

anyway, there was a link to shawn's collection page

i went.

i found the boards

here i am

and a few months later i bought a home system

::bows:: thank you thank you

A couple of days after I bought my first MVS cab I was looking for Neo related stuff through a search engine, and ended up here.

It was a while back where I think I saw Big Bear on a NG selling some stuff. I talked with him for a bit about the old days on the mailing list and what not, and he told me how a ton of people come here now. And so I checked it out... and WOW.

There was a time that I didn't come here for a few months, for I was without the internet for that long. But as you can see, I made it back.

The rest is history.

After spearheading three failed Neo-Geo/SNK related web projects, I eventually gave up on trying to maintain any sizeable project by my lonesome, jumped ship, and ended up here. The rest is, as they say, history.

After perusing Neo-Alec (never joined), DL's orignal website, the One-List fiasco, the Neo Heaven fiasco, and DL's Yahoo club I ended up here (I took a little longer than most Domain members to make the jump, mainly due to my work at the time).
