need little help: Double Dragon (SNES)

this game just came to my mind and I went to do some searches:

this is what I found: Double Dragon V.

WTF ..... this is not what I remeber. I'll descripe the game and if you figured out it's real name (appearently, not Double Dragon), please let me know. sorry but I just remember few details.

- the one I played was a Japanese game (maybe, a Jap-only game?)

- you can charge by holding R or something

- the game is very simmiler to Nekketsu: Shodai, except that it's an action game (no RPG elements)

- the two heroes seemed like Billy and Jimmy

- it's from Technos

- I always thought it was a Double Dragon game.

if you knew the game but one of the details was different, let me know. because I'm not 100% sure about everything

Thats Super Double Dragon. Double Dragon V was on Genesis and was a fighting game. Super Double Dragon was the one on SNES and was the normal beat em up.

Ah, I think Super Double Dragon was the best out of the series. One neat trick. If you're playing a 2 player game with somebody and you both die on 1 continue, take both controller 1 and 2 and press Start on both controllers simultaneously. It'll jump your continues back to 9. And then you can REALLY thrash the game.

DD5 wasn't only on Genesis, it was also on SNES and Atari Jaguar too.

Ah. I never saw the SNES one, only played the Genesis one. What a horrible game.

actually, DD5 came out for a HUGE number of systems, including both SNES and genesis. I still curse that god-awful game based, on the equally god-awful American cartoon for pretty much killing my favorite beat-em-up series.
