I'm not sure why I'm bothering with doing this. But I thought I'd take some pictures of my game collection.

Note to self:
Need to take picture of NeoGeo Pocket stuff, 3D0 system, Virtual Boy, all pre-NES stuff, AmigaCD32, PS1 and PS2 stuff.

Note 2:
I need to buy better furniture once I finally recover from buying this place. :p

I'll start off with my humble MVS collection:

Next up to bat is my storage cabinet where most of my gear is stored. Most of the cart cases and original large jewel cases for the Saturn, Sega CD are in storage (the CDs have been transplated into normal/skinny jewel cases).

Here's my humble GameCube collection
<a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/game_cube.jpg" target="_blank">Game Cube & Games</a>

Under my TV you'll find my Dreamcast (I bought some used games from various stores and BlockBuster, so they don't necessarily all have the proper jewel cases. Just for those thinking "BURNS!".):
<a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/dc_all.jpg" target="_blank">DC Collection ALL</a> <a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/dc_games1.jpg" target="_blank">Zoom of games 1</a> <a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/dc_games2.jpg" target="_blank">Zoom of games 2</a>

And my little pride and joy:
<a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/duo_all.jpg" target="_blank">TurboDuo collection</a> <a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/duo_hardware.jpg" target="_blank">closeup of hardware</a> <a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/duo_games_1.jpg" target="_blank">Closeup of games1</a> <a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/duo_games_2.jpg" target="_blank">Closeup of games2</a> <a href="http://www.501st.ca/crap/duo_games_3.jpg" target="_blank">Closeup of games3</a>

Hmm... I'll eventually need to make a good list + pictures for insurance.

You have a collection to be proud of! I'm jealous when I see all your TG/PC Engine games! Sure puts my 15 game PC Engine collection to shame. ;)

Thanks...

A few more notes:
a) I have a spare Duo and some more pads and taps. I have them as spares. The reason I have so many is that I had a Radio Shack that was a clearance center. I was able to pick up pads, turbo to duo converters and taps for next to nothing. :p

b) I also have a US Saturn but some 3rd party light-guns blew up the joy ports. They take joysticks, but not light guns. That's why I have that derby saturn.

c) I have a spare DC. They're cheap now so I figured I should get one just in case. :p

And yes, I did go really nuts on my Duo. I haven't bought much in recent years though. There aren't many games I'm looking for anymore. Funny thing is I was buying most of these when they came out. IE: Dracula X comes from the first batch of imported ones. So is SFII:CE and all of the Neo ports. :p

As for my DC collection, it was spread between my GF's place and my place (I had the spare DC there.) Now that it's all in one spot I look at some titles and think "I bought this?!". (My reaction upon seeing Capcom vs SNK as well as SF3.) :p

When I start working on the insurance pictures, I'll probably post them all up. The Saturn, Genesis (+CD/32x) collections don't look impressive in my storage cabinet picture. The CD's are in slim (and some normal) jewel cases, the carts are out of their boxes. But you can get some idea of the Saturn collection by the stack of instructions on the "Saturn" shelf. Add about 10 japanese titles (House of the Dead, D&D Collection, Radiant Silvergun, D, Ennemy Zero, Sega Rally, Next Lode Runner, Marvel Vs Street Fighter...) I'm still building up. :p

Back to MVS, as for the stickers on the cart, it's not a priority for me. As long as the game works and it's not a boot. :p Although I did get a kit with "Shocktroopers: 2nd Squad" and I'm thinking "NICE"... :p

In my mind, a game is good if it comes in good working order. If they have the other bits, then it's a bonus. However, once they're in my "care", I do my best to make sure that the games stay in the same condition as I got them.
