....to see my wife and two girls. It's been over a year since I've been back from Argentina and I've missed them so much. I simply can't wait to finally see them. I know I'll be a blubbering wreck when I hold my daughters.

I know this has nothing to do with anything really, but I'm just so nervous and excited that I won't be able to sleep tonight.

Since the economy has gone really downhill the last two years, I've been forced to move back to Canada to support my family (I've been back since last August). We all would rather live in Argentina but I'm afraid the economy simply won't permit us. My wife was nearly eight months pregnant with our second child when I left her (a decision based on necessity since we both figured she would need the money as soon as the baby was born) so, as you can guess, I've never met my youngest daughter before (only pictures) <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

Sorry, but I'm just so excited it feels like it isn't even real.

Wow man, that's a good call. Seeing your daughter IS really going to be the end of you though; tears of joy. Have a great time...and most importantly, have fun :)

Wow man it must be hard. I can not even put my son in a babysitter. I have to next week for the first time. I know I am gonna miss him so much since I am with him almost all the time. He does not like anyone but me and my wife (he cries with anyone but us). Its gonna be hard but I have to go back to work after a couple of months of being a stay at home Dad. I wish you a safe trip man. I could only imagine how excited you must be. :) The hell with sleep if you ask me. :D That must be such an awesome feeling to know when you go back you get to see one of your daughters for the very first time ever!!! Man congratulations and once again, have a safe trip.

Just curious, how come you don't move the rest of your family with you to Canada???

It's difficult for my wife to adjust since she doesn't speak english and will be alone a lot. She was here before for 6 months and hated it (we fought constantly). We decided to move to Argentina and everything was great except for the economy.

I also think my girls are better there since she has lots of cousins to be with and won't be stuck indoors as much.

Hopefully soon, I can move back indefinitely.

awwwwww...I am so happy for you. Make sure you give both your little kids big huge hugs and kisses for me okay? Congrats..it must feel so good to be with your family again.

Sal, en verdad me alegro mucho por ti, ojala que dios te cuide y te proteja en tu viaje, y todo salga vien para que puedas estar con tus seres mas queridos en el mundo, Porque en verdad te digo que el placer de tener a tus hijas en tus brazos, nada en el mundo te lo puede dar, ni todo el dinero del mundo o el juego mas deceado, ojala seas muy dichoso en tu encuentro, y les digas cuanto los amas, antes de que te regreses...
No te pongas nervioso por que lla se va a llegar la hora de partir, piensa mejor en como le vas a hacer cuando te tengas que venir y sientas que se destrosa tu alma por dentro, por dejar a tras lo que mas amas en esta vida....
En verdad amigo te deceo de todo corazon que tengas el mejor tiempo de tu vida y te diviertas mucho......

PS..no te olvides de los amigos que dejas atras aqui tambien... :D

Gracias, Victor. No sabes cuanto aprecio lo que me decis. Me siento mejor ahora y mas tranquilo. Espero encontrar una computadora en un telecentro asi te mando un email para decirte lo bien qu estoy y que estoy pasando. Seguro que va ser el unico mes cuando no voy a extranar mi AES o mas, si alguien lo rompe, poco me va importar (hasta que vuelva!). Hablaremos pronto.

Thanks to all for the kind words. This will likely be the only month in memory in which I'll not miss my AES one iota or it could be reduced to molten slag for all I care.

Until I return of course. ;)

yeah the economy in Argentina is really bad shame you were forced to move away. What is the current rate of inflation in Argentina??
