Import Memory Cards...need info

I, like many others on this forum have Import Japanese consoles. Now in order to save games for Import ps2/psx I need an Import memory card right?

Does the same run true for GC and Dreamcast?

I think you can have any region memory card, you just have to configure it to run on a Jap. console. You won't be able to save US games and Jap. games on the same memory card for some systems, though.

PSX=US and Jap games are saveable on the same card.
PS2=same thing.
GC=two cards, one for each territory
DC=jap and US saves can go on the same VMU.
