Is The TEKKEN Anime any good??

today i saw the Tekken anime/manga (whatever they're called) on video for £2.00, i never even knew such thing exsisted it looked really cool on the back. Just wondered what your opinions are on it?? if they'll good i'll go back in the hope of it still being there.

I have it. Is it good? Pretty much no. Its pretty boring. But if you want to see Anna in the shower than thats the anime for you. Catoon nudity . . . what have things come to . . . :rolleyes:

Yeah.

My cat ate my copy when I had it on VHS. Can't say I was too upset about it.

You actually needed a stop watch to see how long some characters were in it. Not good at all.

Will you enjoy Tekken: The Movie? Only if you enjoy eating shards of broken glass. Keep your distance away from that, as well as Samurai Shodown: The Movie, Art of Fighting, and Panzer Dragoon.

Wasn't there a recent live-action movie with Tekken chars? I remember it floating around Otakon awhile back, from what I heard it wasn't half-bad. (subbed only I think)

Edit: linky... from the sound of it, not too bad but not too relevant either.

it was pure crap. Tekken has such an awesome storyline yet the anime chose go the opposite way and fuck it up and take away all the good crap and add in some meaningless bullshit.

I actually kinda liked it! I thought the dinosaurs were a bit ott and was upset that michelle wasnt in it for that long but it was ok :)

think i'll save my precious £2 and go buy Double Dragon on the NES instead <img src="graemlins/tickled.gif" border="0" alt="[Tickled]" />

Yeah, it's not great. Infact, it sucks. But for 2 squid, you can't go wrong.

Not totally true SamShow the Movie CAN be good.

That is if you somehow get the "Mystery Anime Theatre 3000" version. (At Otakon each year they do a Mystery Science Theatre deal for an anime) I saw it at last year's Otakon and I laughed so hard I cried.

Good choice! The Tekken Anime was just awful. As far as game to anime transfers, I say Tekken is the worst of the bunch.

I think Fatal Fury is probably the best fighting game turned anime out there, followed by Darkstalkers which I really enjoyed.

ROFL THIS HAS TO BE THE!!!! SINGLE WORSTE ANIME I HAVE SEEN OUTSIDE OF...hell..The US attempt at Samurai Showdown....Lol..half of the animation in it was "speedracer"esque...It'd have the background..and then a cutout of a boat behind some wave cutouts
..moving all crappy and choppy...And it focused on...invisable dinosaurs...Oh my god <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" /> just gay <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

I've never seen the Fatal Fury one, its so hard to find. I've seen the Street Fighter 2 one though and that was ace.
