1304879542 Magical Drop 2 for Import Sega Saturn

All associated listing fees have been credited to your eBay account.

Encouraging the use of a device, such as a mod-chip, that allows
pirated and/or import games to be played on a domestic system is
not allowed on eBay. This is so even when the product you are selling is legitimate.

You may relist this item so long as you make the appropriate changes.
Specifically, your listing should not encourage the use of the
devices described above. Please keep in mind that, according to
Sony, Sega and Nintendo, import games may not be played on a domestic
system without infringing upon their intellectual property rights.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please be aware future incidents of this nature
can lead to the suspension of your account. We value you as a member
of our community and wish to continue this relationship, so we must
ask you to refrain from any violations of the Listing Policies or User Agreement in the future.

Our User Agreement and our privacy policy are posted at: http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-priv.html

We encourage you to learn more about eBay's policies and the laws
that may apply to your items. Click here for more information on

One word - Gay!

First off, the Saturn is no longer being sold by Sega.
Second off, the game never came out for Saturn in america, so Sega or Data East is not losing money.

Fuckers.

Oh well, beginners luck I guess. Learn from your mistakes. It was my first auction, so what do u expect.

describe the item as necessitating a Japanese system. Don't say anything else. interested buyers will know (yeah, what instant fan boy is searching for saturn items in this day and age?).

Greg,

Simply state that US system owners should not bid on the game if they do not know how to play it on their system. That should keep you off the hook.

What was the exact phrase that got you into trouble Greg?

Well, dumbass that I am, I made references to "mod chip, ST Key, and 5-in-one to play the game."

And as we all know, that's a no-no.

I should have known better.

Read this, and see what you think:

Magical Drop 2 auction remix

My lazy ass added a pic, and revised the opening bid price.

Sorry Carlson, but I had to sell it. The job market demands it.

Guess the NGPC version will have to do for now.. Until I pick up MDIII for MVS or SS in the future..

It's so retarded that adding certain words like that can get your auction canceled, yet selling roms, empty boxes and all other kinds of stupid shit dosent.

Ebay is really damn retarded - remember when we tried to get the KoF 2000 rom seller's auctions busted, and they said they wouldn't do it unless SNK told them too.

That's like they want monetary compensation to protect the IP of software companies. Yeah, pay ebay to put your name on the list with Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and EA. What a sick joke.

As a point of interest, anyone notice that Ebay Japan is a ghost town? I wonder why Japan Yahoo won out on that end...

Greg, I've sold import games on eBay, one trick is not to say it's US or Japanese system, nor import, I simply said, ???, please ask before placing the bids. Buyers know what versions they are since import game collectors interested know which games came out on which terr.

Also avoid the term surcharge (I ask for this when people use paypal with credit card source payment), again, I ask bidders to contact me for further details. I'm starting to shun eBay (I'm sick of cheapskate and deadbeat bidders there, trust me, it's getting worse everyday), I manage to sell many items from words of mouth.

How messed up that is. eBay is so paranoid when they attack something just because of certain terminology.

Yet those ROM sellers have gotten off the hook...

The new auction looks safe to me especially with the "Serious Bidders ONLY" clause.
