I played and finished the firtst two (in japanese).
They're both excellent:
the first is a strategyRPG, with more emphasis on battles' tactics, while the second one is more classic-RPG oriented, but with the same cool battle system...
Both are graphically outstanding (2D at his best on PSX), and great soundtrack too...
Never played the third chapter, though... but i know that they completely changed gameplay and characters...
Anyway, definitely reccomended <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

its a fuckin master piece
i wouldnt call it RPG though
just battles,battles,battles and more battles
but who cares
the music and the art is SO good i dont care
but part 2
man,after months of wait
bought it
only to find meself stuck after like 7 mins into the game,in this damn village

then my japanese spch 1000 psx went arse up and that was it
no arc the lad 3................
damn fine games.........
