Do you have any other hobbies besides video games?

I was just curious to see if anyone here has other hobbies besides video games. For me, I'm trying to get away from console game collecting because of my loss of love for the hobby, but I'm not leaving games completely. I plan to get an arcade cab soon (hopefully at the auction in MD in November) and go from there with collecting only my all-time favorite cabs.

I also plan to get into electric RC cars/boats/planes/etc and horror movie figures. So how about you guys?

I make art and collect anime. Anime and games all look the same on shelves though. That's why the art's good at least. So I can make everything look a bit different (I build things and draw) I also used to make model kits

Hunting ---Wild Boar with a Bowie Knife and Tomahawk.

Hunting--- Deer and jack rabbit, tracking them on the ground, no "Blinds" up in the air shit... streaked with dirt on my face, with either a 30-30 Winchester lever action Model 1894 rifle, or with a Bow and Arrow.

Fishing--- With Rod or a Speer made from a whittled piece of wood, in shallow waters that I spike with quickness (though I don't get to do much of the "Speer")

Blunt and Live Blade Knife Fighitng
(small group of knife ppl)

Street Racing --- Not too often, but I still can outdrive most ppl.

Reading/Studying History, Politics, Survival Guides... Poetry, Battle Tactics... French Foreign Legion & Marine Corps traditions and songs.

Collect obscure, underground/alternative films and books...

Collect Mega Drive and GBA SP games as well as play them...

Work on the soon-to-be-launched "Mega Drive" website offline...

Post on Ng.Com and various forums...

Jerk off, since fuckin' is something I'm trying not to do until my wedding in December. Though the "key" word is TRY!

too many .i haven't got enough time to do everything so sometimes my other hobbies suffer because of my videogame addiction.

hip hop (i make beats and m.c but they're a bit more than a hobby.i consider my scratching and collecting 90's vinyl to be my hip hop hobby)

video nasties (collected these buggers for years what can i say i like gore and i also sample a lot of music from italian horror films for my beats)

weed (used to grow it now i just smoke it :( )

riding my bike.(perfect for chilling.i love going down the river on my bike to check out a few tidy birds and smoke a few sticks in the sun)

i collect a few figures as well.not many just a few choice ones.i've got he-man and battlecat, mummra ,mr t and a few streetfighter figures.

Play guitar.... hehe... play is an understatement.
I like Fret Shredding! buttrock
Splinter those inlays... wait... don't do that.

I play tennis, I played varsity high school, college level, and I am in a basic mens league because of no time.

Oh yea, and I play video games. I have a collection, but they get played. Many do sit, but they each get their turn lol :)

I'm your standard guy really,i like Anime/Manga of any kind if it's good.I also enjoy finding and reading Concept art for games (Last Blade) or any art.

I also a big fan of late 60's,70's and early 80's films.I have watched too many to remember and had many good nights staying up till 2 in the morning and going school next day.I think i watched Blade Runner for the 4th time now and the Wild Bunch twice in a week, you gotta love the shoot out at the end :)

I also like too 'think' as it is,quite a hard thing too say or understand but how people react and things that happen in the world today. Not really a hobby as such, but i think it's cool because seems too think i'm in a mood lol.Thinking too yourslef can be a dangerous thing...

I don't mind the 'erb once in a while too

It means "training" for knife fights dude. A small group here or there will meet from time to time and practice. It's stuff that you learn in the military mostly... the best way to kill a man with a knife etc. Although this is training to parry attacks, take the knife from the attacker, how to use different kinds... how to make a knife from flint rocks hammered and sharpened, or out of whittled and sharpened bones of animals etc.

The blunt blades are weighed in at the appropriate "feel" and "weight" but you don't get cut. Hurts like hell if your hit with one in an area doing stabs. The more daring of the groups go "LIVE BLADE" meaning, two or more ppl square off with actual knifes, and if you're not quick enough you're actually cut. But you never make the mistake again if you don't want to be cut. Since it's only training, these cuts are generally nothing lethal, just hairline cuts since the knifes of "blade" men are always razor sharp... though accidents do happen from time to time. Other than an altercation I once had where I used my left hand in an upward stroke to "take" the slash coming my way (which needed stiches) only to use the knife man's own blade on him... I have only ever participated in "Live Blade" training a couple of times, but intend to get more into it in the years to come as I get my body back into the physical condition it was once in. A Hunter/Warrior/Storm Rider must always be ready for the unthinkable, and ready to do what must be done. Thus out doorsman's skills and doing Manly Man things appeal to me more than anyhing else... problem is, most of the time I have my hands tied like most ppl with jobs and shit.
