New Metal Slug Style game from Sammy: Dolphin blue.

I played it at the AMOA show last month. It's far from completion.
The system is similar to the Neo set up. Board and cartridge.
This title wasn't a surprise as many Sammy employees were ex-SNK employees (about 50 of them). One of the Execs who left SNK upon their demise went over to Sammy and brought them over with him.
From what I hear, the system is comparable to the Naomi power, but the titles didn't show it at AMOA. Still too soon to predict though.

Ouch, some Noise Factory programmers can probably feel their ears burning.
Let's just rename Metal Slug 4 to "Cyber-Lip 2". That way the game gets a much deserved sequel and the Metal Slug name won't be tarnished.

Looks good, I know it's not going to be for the NEO but I hope it's something I can eventually buy a PCB of for my Super Nova. Just can't get enough of these kinds of games... it's in the blood I tell you! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" />
Well I would have had a chance to play it at my friends work since they had the proto type cabs running in his office(he works for Sammy), but he told me about them after the shipped the guts back to Sammy Japan. 
Anyhow lucky for him once they finished the testing the let him take 2 proto cabs home! There really nice, but the only thing bad is that they arent pretty, just some wood. They are however the real cab shape just not with all the color and graphics.
From what he told me their making four games for their new arcade system, and he still has the proto of the racing game thats also coming out. I may check it out tomorrow and I'll let everyone know how it is.

no wonder GGXX is so savage...SNK and Sammy together...thats like mai shiranui materializing into a real person who's soul purpose is to be my love slave...i just wish Sammy would diss Crapcom in some sort of way so they could maybe come up with a sammy/SNK Vs. crapcom...if i could pick Sol and Iori...i'd probly die <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" />
