Why? Because people would not buy a single disc that contained 100 episodes for the cost they would charge. I remember about a year ago reading about a type of CD technology that would hold roughly about 140 Gigabytes per disc. I would expect that we may see this in about 5 years or so ?
Judging from the way the industry likes to milk tech we may not ? Hell look how long VHS , LD's and DVD's have been around prior to actually switching from one to another{ for consumer use } as a preferred media
Its sad that this type of technology exists , but the powers that be have to bleed us dry for several years before they will release it to us.
As for the topic at hand , I never really got into the TV show { basically if its on USA I avoid it like the plague } The origional movie was great but they got pretty stupid after that.
