Silent Hill 2 - Restless Dreams - what's going on?

I bought this last night for my XBOX and it's pretty enjoyable so far. I'm currently in the Apartments section and one question still bothers me...

In one of the rooms, when you enter it turns to a cinema and you quickly run into one of the closets. You observe one of those weird mannequin zombie things with a pan-shaped head performing what looks to be some kind of sexual act with two other mannequin zombies in the kitchen area of that particular apartment(!!) :eek:

He kills the first one and then drags the second one into the living room where it senses you in the closet. The cinema then shows you shooting at the zombie rapist and then the game gives control back to you.

What the hell was that zombie doing to the two other mannequins???? Were they just killing each other? It sure as hell didn't look like that!

Finish the game first. It might make sense later or if not we'll tell you. Just beat it so we won't ruin it for you.

I've played through Silent Hill 2 for the PS2. When I first got it, my friends and I would meet up at someones house, turn the lights down and play it just so we could get the crap scared out of us. Some of those monsters are FREAKY!!

lol good times.....

Ah I see. I thought it was just some sort of freak occurence or something.

is it answered in one of the alternate endings?

i've only seen 2 endings so far.

I beat the game and I don't get the crazy Pyramid rape scenes either. WTF?

Well, it kind of is, but there are some things that are attached to the last bit of the game, and we don't want to spoil anything. Get all 7 endings too!

The resurrection ending is really not worth it though.
