Transformers Mystery of Comvoy What Is This Game About?

Hi,

I am very interested in purchasing "Transformers Mystery of Comvoy" for the famicom. I always though that this game could be a nice addition to my small transformers and famicom collection.

My question is that I will like to know what this game is all about. I have made searches on the web, but I only found screen and cartridge pictures. Even gamefaqs.com has no information about this game.

Another thing is that Comvoy is the Japanese name for Optimus Prime, but the cart sticker has a picture of Ultra Magnus spock

Therefore, I am wondering if any of you guys ever played this game, and if you could tell me anything about it.

On a side note, I do not care if the game sucks because I just want to have it as part of a collection.

you should care if the game sucks, because it really does suck. it is one of the worst games i have ever played. anyways, you play as ultra magnus. i think he is looking for prime . i dunno. the game is stupid hard and one of the bosses is a giant decepticon symbol. one hit and your dead. its really lame. and the music sucks too. its worst than beast wars for the n64. whats with transformers games a suckiness? anyways. i wouldnt reconmend this game to my worst enemy.

I've gotta agree with Decepticreep, but would like to add this: the only value that could be had from this game, in and of itself, is it's physical presence on a shelf. My copy is in my sock drawer. I've no Famicom. But as a Transformer fan, it's an interesting piece to behold.

By the way- Decepticreep, that's one hell of a sig.

Thanks for the info, but what I meant to say is that I am not buying the game to play with it. I just want to purchase it as a collectible.

Now I found that funny that one of the bosses is a giant decepticon symbol. glee

Maybe Takara will make some Transformers justice with their upcomming game for the PS2.

thanks bossman. but you are correct, the box art is nice. that about it. but mr. fernadez. if you are going to get it for your "collection" it should be mint and sealed. my opinion, of course.

Gah, that game is total ass. I'm a huge TF fan and I won't get near that lump of filth with a 10 foot pole. Avoid it at all costs.

To answer your question, I am looking for the lowest price I can find. There is no way that I will be paying $15+ for it. BTW you said that you did not care.

Is it safe to state that the best TF game was on commodore 64?? I believe it was created by Orion or...damn,who used to make the cool games in the UK based on movies,etc...uhhhh,not codemasters...not US GOLD....Damn,what's their name...anyway I know it was'nt the Activision version.

Hey no problem, I appreciate your concern.

These games passed the testing stage because they are made after TV shows (in this case a very popular anime). And anyone who knows about popular shows, knows that their fans will even pay top dollar for canned shit if it has a stamp of their favorite TV show on it.

Why do you think that DBZ Budokai for the PS2 is a hot seller when it is well document for being one of the worst fighting games in the market?

I finally made it to the end...........and almost had a fit when i went off the end of the level, and appeared at the begginning of the last level........and again.......again.......I have no idea how to actually finnish the last level, if i can be finnished at all.

But i'd still recomend it, remember though, never Transform in the game, it really is useless.

I think the idea is to save Prime/Convoy, not that i saw him in the game. Yeah you are Ultra Magnus with a gun, and you can Transform, but why you would want to i never know.rofl. There is a repetitive boss that looks like unicron, but nothing is explained

The sequal "Headmsters"you play as Hot Rod/Hot Rodimus (it looks like him but is apparently Chromedome WTF??) and starts out like a fast paced version of the first game, but has different styles of play like up the screen shoot em up, platform action & where you are racing horizontally as a car........cool but i prefer the original.
