this is a preliminary site to host our recent dreamcast programming efforts.

<a href="http://www.stalemeat.net/dc.html" target="_blank">http://www.stalemeat.net/dc.html</a>

all built using DC_Land (a custom set of libraries and functions designed for easy DC coding), it has functions for reading the pad, basic 2d, sound, and other such API's that greatly simplify development.

watch this space for dc_land libraries soon. check <a href="http://www.boob.co.uk" target="_blank">www.boob.co.uk</a> if you're interested in getting into the Dreamcast development scene.

(edit: dc_land is all our own work, no katana devkit libraries, read: legal)

This, sir, is tight in the @$$ !

If I were a decent code-slinger, I'd make some 4PL beat em ups...

SO GET SLINGIN ON BEAT EM UPS!

LOL... I'll give one to you for a donation to the Vanilla-Thunder's-electric-bill-was-300 bucks-last-month-thanks-to-servers-coin-ops-and-game-systems Fund. hahaha..

Email me about a BBA fix.. there's a way to hack a regular card to act as a BBA. How good are you electrically and engineering wise? There's a few other things I tried before I got my hands on some.

cant afford a LAN adapter yet.. would be damn good as uploading 1MB of code over the serial port takes a fucking long time

It's a very nice site. I speant a few minutes look it over.

I wonder how many people were able to get ahold of actual DC Dev kits with graphics tools?

graphics tools?

I can load any pcx, jpeg, tif, mp3, wav and use them in my code with no conversion already.

Kallistios is near katana devkit levels in terms of usability, its said some API's are actually friendlier in Kos. Its not likely to be _as fast mind you.

thanks for the comments, more releases soon.

edit: anyone with nero, a cdwriter and a DC can download the nero images and actually try these demos out for themselves! completely legal and self-boots too :D

wow, this is haxxor. I have always been interested in coding for consoles and to be honest this looks pretty simple compared to coding for the neo.

Too bad I don't own a DC :D
