For all those that own a Panasonic Q Gamecube unit and use the dvd player. I would like to know if the dvd player gives you any problems when you skip chapters, like does the player eventually freeze up and then wont play for a few minutes. Thanks for any answers.

no problems here.

Make sure that the cooling vents aren't obstructed.

No problems with either of those things. It didn't use to do this then again for a time there I wasn not using it. I have noticed that if I let the dvds play without jumping around scenes it will not freeze up.

I also, have had no DVD trouble. The ONLY trouble is it won't play the notoriously troubled Evanagelion movie... but then again, not many do! ;)

I've actually had problems with the music on Beach Spikers, it will just stop playing and then reload after a bit. As far as DVDs go no trouble, but has any body else had that trouble with Beach Spikers or the Q?

Nope, no problems. But I use it mostly to play VCDs and rarely DVDs, so my experiences could differ from the rest.
