Anyone use the ASCII Capcom vs. SNK pad for PS2/DC?

I'm finally going to get CvS2 today! I'm thinking of ordering the ASCII Capcom vs. SNK pad (SNK edition of course), so I can have the 6-button layout for my PS2. I just don't like the look of the D-Pad on the controller from the pics. My friend says it wears out on the diagonals. I'm just wondering if anyone has/used it and your opinions.

I have the Capcom v. SNK joystick for the DC and no I haven't used it yet. Haven't had the time.

The saturn pad is better than the ascii pad. The D pad on the ascii pad is a bit floaty and chunky, If I were you I'd spend 20 bucks on a Total Control adaptor and use a Saturn 6 button pad.

I have one and I love it. It is very nice for the large handed person....The D pad feels fine to me. Not as good as the Saturn d pad, but pretty sweet. As long as it is comfortable. The buttons do get on my nerves though.
