Just buy a PS2 with Mullet GEar Solid 2. Both will be readily available and the game is the best thing, next gen wise.

Im taking a wait and see on the GCN and THE XBOX.

My friend agreed to set one aside for me at his store. Not sure if I will keep it or sell it off, though. They will be open at MidNight anyway due to their in-store pay-to-play LAN, so it was no big deal for them to decide to start selling the GC's at 12:01 A.M.

Camping out the 18, no not me. I Preordered two gamecube bundles at Amazon.com

Keeping one and selling the other.(I did the same thing when PS2 launched last year and made a huge profit on ebay) <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I've also ordered two xbox bundles, but I'm having doubts on the demand when it comes out. Maybe I should cancel one, hm.........

I don't think there will be an absolute need to camp out. As far as I can tell, the demand is not as high as the PS2 was. Hmmm, you'll be able to score one no prob, just got to look.

My problem is that I live about 20 miles away from any good video game store, my local store(KB) has a habit of not getting enough games in or at all.

Why don't you just preorder one online, they still offer preorders at www.kbtoys.com
They said you will get systems at launch. But you have to buy the $400 bundle.

Screw packages, I'll buy what I want when I want. I swear If I could find the guy who invented this whole preorder package crap, i'd kill em.

Also I dont have a credit card and though I should have enough for 1 game the console a mem card and an extra controler or two, all I have at the momment is about 100
