I saw Vampire Hunter D last night. The Hawaii International Film Festival showed the new VH <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> Movie one showing only. (Pissed off #1) They said the showing was at 9.5pm, yet it started at 10pm (Pissed #2). The damn ultra geeks (super geekier than thou) got to go in at 9.5pm (Pissed #3)...

Eventually, I got to go see it. It rocked ass. I'm going to gloat about to everyone who didn't see it for the next month. That's when the DVD is supposed to come out for the commoners. Hehehe... oh, well. I just wanted to post that... Oh, yeah. The movie let out at 12am. I got home at 12:15, automatically woke up at 2am for my two hour meditation period, followed by kendo practice at 4 until 6am. Then I went to school and started posting. The current Hawaii time is 7:48am.... I got NO sleep... but it was worth it.

That's why I don't dig on the public showings.

No way in hell am I going to go to the Big Apple Anime Fest and deal with those losers.

I'm LOSER ENOUGH!! Let's not be UBER-LOSER gents.

Just buy the DVD from now on...it's really for the best.

No way man..

You've gotta mingle with the geeks once in a while.

It makes you feel like you're part of the human race, you know?

Any there's nothing more bad-ass than seeing an anime in the theatre.

It's just a whole new Xperience. I saw GitS and Princess Monoke in the theatre, and let me tell, you, it was a TRIP.. Almost a religious Xperience.

It's like playing Bomberman Online @ home with buddies vs the net.

There's just no comparison.

I'm seeing it this weekend.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is supposedly playing in one theatre 50 miles away from me.

Damn, I gotta move closer to LA.

I saw it about three weeks ago, and words cannot describe how excellent it is. Anyway, I was wondering where you heard about the DVD release being only a month away?
