Ok guys, I hope some out there knows a lot about XP professional cus I'm really pissed right now. Ok, I'm trying to install my Linksys NIC card and I keep getting a message that says windows can't install this hardware. Then I delete the drivers and reinstall them and then I get a driver error with something that says CODE 01. I'm so confussed!! Can anyone help???

Get the full version. I've had no problems whatsoever on it.

Peace

I would buy the full version, but I just got my PC which was built built by a friend and he installed this. He said that the beta version of this was better than the released version. Right now I'm not seeing this but hey, it was free, and it IS a Microsoft product so problems are to be expected. Still if someone knows anything about this let me know.

Thanks again.

get rid of XP. I had to try 3 different NICs till I found one that worked with XP (considering two of those used the very same chipset, one worked, the other didn't, it's pretty fucked). and I used the final.

What brand did you use? I used NETGEAR and Linksys.
