Where do you buy most of your games?

Online?
Brick-and-Mortar?

Last year, Online worked great for me. I pre-ordered stuff from ebgames months in advance, and paid for shipping once. I received games the same day stores did. I didn't have to pay to ship each individual order. Now, they make you pay for each item shipped, and I get it 3-5 days later than stores. I'm not ordering online again unless it's something I can't find in stores.

Brick and mortar. I like to supprt my local economy. I know my money goes into a local bank and gets spent here a few times before it goes into some national chains bank account in california. Keeps my area prosperous. It's usually comprable in price, and I can keep my friends employed.

Almost always online, since they don't have much of the ''cooler'' import games here.

I import almost exclusively so online for me. There was a cool local game store here but it went under last year.

I only try to buy domestic consoles domestically. See, bestbuy and some other stores have warrantees against anything. Like, you can scratch your GBA screen and they'll replace it. It's only $10 more, so when I bought it for $90, the $10 more made it equivalent to the cost of shipping from NCS (actually cheaper overall).

But seeing as I can't stand the American game market (too much sports, low quality, waiting waiting waiting), I have to order online. Usually NCS or VGD.

10% of the time I buy from local stores.

And the other half, I buy on-line.

I used to go around from store to store, not finding what I was looking for. Now, thanks to the marvelous device known as the "Internet", I do all of my video game shopping online (especially when I'm in college; there's only one video game store near me, and it sucks). Plus, the prices are cheaper (at least where I shop).

I only order online for stuff that I can't buy in stores. Other than that if it is a common game that stores carry then I just go to the mall and buy the game there. I like the atmosphere and walking around the mall anyway, going to music stores, book stores, poster stores, watching movies.

`I hate going to local stores, theirs an import place by me that has Shenmue 2, FOR $90. And GameCrap and EB all have extreme 5-10 increases in price. I do go to EB buy games, beat em, and return em. I despise them, I like online shopping, makes the purchases seem like their free, no real money involved

If it is an import then I really have no alternative and must buy online.

Otherwise I'll buy at a store.

I'm an impulse buyer. I buy the game in the nice shiny box I'm holding at the moment I check my wallet.
