I was at Circuit City yesterday, and right as I finished paying for Tony Hawk 3 and Simsons season 1, I saw it: The Lunchbox. I told my dad we had to stay a few more minutes, and he went off to play with the VAiO computers.

Anyhoo, I played the craptacular Munches Oddysee. (What a shite game). When I was finished, noticed that the two bottom lock things were undone. ::devil:: I opened the tray, and took out the disc to see what a lunchbox disc looked like. wierd hologrammy around the hole in the center.

I set my own password for the parental code, and set teh restrictions to EC games and g movies. Then I cruised on out of there, with my game, my DVD, and a smile.

What kind of shit demo disc calls legal info an interactive demo?

If anyone goes to Circuit City on 95th, the code is: Right, Left, Down, Down.

Heh, I remember at funco when they had these zelda (majoras mask) demo's.
I wanted to see if I could get one for myself, seeing as very few are out there.
They would'nt budge, they send them back to the company,(nintendo) to be destroyed I believe.

Not surprising. Those cartridges were owned by Nintendo. when I used to work at Gamestop we had a Nintendo representative that came by and changed out the carts in our N64 kiosk. I believe that he had to keep track of the carts as part of his job.

Yeah, just about the only way you could get one was by theft.
Seeing as these are just demo's.
If I worked at nintendo I would do the same exact thing.
you never see these things hit ebay.

Come to think of it, clayfighter TE was a rental only game? (snes)
I got ahold of a copy myself, I have yet to see one ebay, hell for all I know could be worth 3 bucks, maybe less.

The fact of the matter is that Nintendo rarely asks for the games back. I think I have 2 or 3 of the "Not for Resale" carts at home. Nothing all that special about them, they seem to be complete games. I did see one on e-gay once, I think it was Majora's Mask and it went for some insane amount (around $175). Just letting you know ~_^

All you have to do to sabotage some XCrates is just play them....

Saw 9 XCrates this weekend, 4 were already broken.... I got a kick out of watching the guy at EB trying to get it to work, "Usually it goes for about 3 hours before dying..." Of those 9 places, 6 of them had LameCubes, which all worked....

Microsoft QA showing its head....

This was probably intentional. Just like Windows, X-Box will probably have some type of yearly upgrade.
