I can't believe some people

I work at a Mall and had a 15 minute break the other day so I went to EBX to see if I could get some GameCube time in. Luckily no one was playing it so I grabbed a controller. Star Wars. Ok, so I wanted Wave Race or Monkey Ball but this game looked good too.

So anyway, I'm playing and this guy walks into the store, sees the GameCube and goes "awww yeah shit, lemme get some of that dawg" and grabs the 2nd controller. I tell him it's one one player and he says "shit yo when you gonna die so i can play?". I tell him that I don't know and when I die he can play. So naturally this is the first level and not very hard, plus I'm not a complete moron when it comes to games, so I'm doing all right.

Then the guy says "dag dawg, you got videogames at home?" I go of course. He asks if I have Playstation 2 and I say that I do. At this point his two friends walk up and stand there watching me. Then the guy actually asks me, and I quote "Do you play games all the time? Do you want to make games for a living bro?" I ignore him.

Now his friends are saying they want to go and then the guy says "Nah bitch I wanna play when you gonna die dawg man? Just wanna play for a second, homes" At this point I'm just really annoyed and pause the game, give the guy the controller.

He then proceeds to say "Aw shit yeah bitch it's on now". And then he flies straight into the death star blowing up the ship. The whole process took about 3 1/2 seconds. He then let's go of the controller, and while walking out of the store says "Thatz wack man, I don't like that cube 64 shit anywayz, nigga".

I can't believe they let these people out in public. Loud, disrespectful, and a pain in my ass. Oh well, just thought I'd share that experience with you all. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

I hate it when people act uncivilized in public. Gotta impress his "homies" with his slang wordz like "bitches" "nigga" "dawg" and "whack". What a bastard. So he just fucked up the game you had been playing? I tell people that want to play when I am playing to "fuck off". There is no reason they can't wait their turn. Whatta jackass. of topic but this guy came in asking for max paine, this guy didnt look like an idiot right away but after i told him that it hadnt come out yet he said 'yeah? well I just saw it at eb'. idiot. all he saw was a display case and when i explained this to him(and me and my bss had a laugh at him) he left angerly, fuckin assholes, if they saw it at eb then why didnt they get it at eb.

DIY, I know what you mean! Stuff like that happens ALL THE TIME where I work. I work for a Ticket Broker in Willowbrook Mall called "Ticket Center". And there is a big glowing sign above our store that says "Ticket Center". What do people do? Walk up to us and ask us if we're Ticket Master.

Oh yeah, we also answer the phone "Hello Ticket Center."

Guy on phone: "Yes hi, is this Ticket Master?"

Me: "No, we're Ticket Center. We're not affiliated with Ticket Master."

Guy on phone: "Well I bought a Ticket Master gift certificate at your store last week and now I need to return it."

Uh.. hello... we don't sell Ticket Master gift certificates at our store. Oh, and don't try to tell them they're wrong becuase they'll either hang up on you, or ask for the manager and threaten to sue the store. Yeah ok... <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I hate people like that...I would have just kept playing. He could hit me, then he would get arrested. That bastard will get whats coming to him.

You haven't seen shiznit nigga! Work at a Funcoland (now known as Gamestop) for a few years! It's really really bad if you're "hardcore" or actually know what's going on in the world of games.
The kind of people that go out into the real world is a frightening thing. It's a amazing how many really dumb ignorant people there really are out there.

I had some kids call me many times thinking that my number was Funco's. I live about 40 mins from any funco.

Me: Hello

Kid: Hi, I need to see if you have _______

Me: Excuse me?

Kid: I need _______

Me: what are you talking about?

Kid: Isnt this Funcoland?

Me: What? No!

Kid: Sorry.

This happened 2wice a day sometimes.

These kind of people exist all over the world and that the rason why they produce beat-em all games.(in order to evacuate stress).

Those guys sound like some of my "friends." They are no longer my "friends," although they're too stupid to realize I hate them all.

About Funco and EB...Some kids (ages 10-12 i guess) were playing the xbox and acting all cool and shit. First of all, they had the loudest and most obnoxious voices ever. They also looked around them at other people for what seemed like "approval." Poor, delusional morons..Some other kid (12 id say) was on a cell phone talking to some guy about PS2 frogger, while playing it...I love following people like this around. They make me laugh.

There's three malls near us..big ole Providence place..smaller Warwick Mall..
and poor, clinging-on-to-life RI Mall. Obnoxious people go to Providence Mall. I always go to RI; there's nobody there. It has great stores out of the few that it has. There's rarely any annoying people there other than the clerks(only at EB and our local Funco), who have waay to much time on their hands. I really hate them.

There are lots of people like that in Willowbrook. Ticket Center is a booth right in the center of it all and I just sit there all the time with a great view of everyone who walks by. There are some weirdos there every single day who are just incredibly strange. We actually have nicknames for a lot of them.

Let's see... there are the two military guys who are identicle twins, always in uniform, and are ALWAYS walking side by side in UNISON. One time I saw that they were out of step and then one of the guys did a little skip just to get back on the right pace with his brother. We call them Pete and Repete.

Another good one is this lady who is there every single day. It doesn't matter what time of the year it is, but she always looks like she's freezing, always wears a huge winter coat, and she's ALWAYS eating Ice Cream!!! We just call her Ice Cream Lady.

There are tons of people like this in Willowbrook Mall. It's incredible.

I'm pretty sure the mall in Mallrats is the Eden Prairie Mall or something along those lines.
