Multi-Cultural Transformers. Who get's your vote?

I was watching "From Dusk Till Dawn" last night and I realized, or at least recognized as I have always realized it, that most toys were 90% Caucasain. I'm sure this is a societal thing and is doubtless a bad thing, but I don't want to get into that.

What I DID realize is that the 10% that were 'mult-cultural' were almost ALWAYS Super-Dope Cool. I mean, yeah there were only like 5 black GI JOE's but RoadBlock is so god damned cool that it doesn't matter. 3 Asian JOE's (if you count when StormShadow switched sides)but Quick Kick knew Kung-Fu and Snake-Eyes who is arguably Asian and arguably the Finest Action Figure Ever.

This line of thinking brought me to The Transformers...who OBVIOUSLY have no race, as they are Robots...but, think about it.

Jazz was black. Can anyone dispute this? How about Blaster? CliffJumper? And I honestly believe in my heart of heart's that Optimus was indeed black.

I was thinking MAYBE Soundwave but I decided that he is indeed Asian and is the future incarnation of Snake Eyes when he decides to switch teams, just like Stormshadow...it seems to be Ninja-Thinking. My conclusion is brought by the fact that Soundwave is the coolest figure (unless they release a Unicrom figure...*shudders at the coolness*)...and my definition of 'Future' here is that eventually Earth will be come Cybertron, in a sorta Planet of The Apes manuever <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">.

What are your thoughts? Can you nail the race of other Transformers?

Optimus Prime had a deep voice but at times a little southern drawl.

Here are my picks for multi cultural:
Ravage and Laser Beak - Only soundwave could understand what they were saying - which was neither English nor "Asian" (ref. Cable Guy).

Who else...

Iron hide is cracker White.

Wheeljack - debatable.

Rachet - white. undeniable.

Trail Blazer - african-cybertonian.

Dirge - african-cybertonian.

Now Megatron - was he black, white, or asian? That's tough.

And the history of the early GI Joes is really convoluted. OK. Is Cobra Commader Snake Eye's brother, or is Storm Shadow?

Did Cobra Commander toss Snake Eyes into the vulcano and disfigure his face, or did Storm Shadow.

Why did Major Bludd get no airtime? was it the cybernetic arm?

Why did Mindbender look so damn gay?

And of all the GI Joe AF, I think the most interesting on release was Nemesis. Granted, he looks colorful and fruity today, back when "Gi Joe the Movie" aired, he was damn cool.

Which brings me to the most multicultural AF ever: Serpentor. This guy had his genes from every which direction. GengisKhan, Sun Tzu, Lenin, Napoleon, Shaka Zulu. That guy had some heretage.

Wheeljack is Jewish. He reminds me of Jud Hersch from Taxi.

You're right. Wheeljack is Jewish. He has the inflections kind of like Woody Allen. Notice how there were no Religious transformers on Cybertron...

What about Rumble, i say he must be from Cybertron Brooklyn.

Vector Sigma could never be considered a god. The robots of Cybertron have digital memories which never fade or become altered through the ages. They know Sigma as a creator of the very strictest sense, their inventor (like how Data must consider Dr. Sung) and nothing else.

Megatron is Serbian, I swear it.

Yeah, I was wondering that myslef - he seemed so Punk.

I only have a few of my old TFs still. Jazz is one of them (also have starscream, Kup, a terrorcon, and a lame ass head/weapon master). Jazz is definitely one of the coolest TFs. He hardly fought using weapons. Usually, OP would say, "Jazz, go in the line of fire and play that funky music!" or something. It was almost always the same song.

Trax could have been upper east side african-cypertronian. He was close friends with Raul, our favorite latino car jacker.

Yeah, I've always thought that:

Jazz, Beachcomber and Blaster were jive turkeys.

Ironhide is a straight up Redneck hillbilly.

Optimus Prime is probably a white southern trucker

Wheeljack = Jewish

Keep in mind that Optimus was created by Alpha Trion, and didn't know it was AT that made him for 7 million years. Of course, he used to be Orion Pax, working at the energon docks and hanging out with his chick Arial (Alita 1). When megatron almost killed him, he was unconscious and so he probably has hardly any memories of Alpha Trion as his creator, but he should.
