Yep, I had the same problem when I was living in Baltimore. The construction crews would start work about 7 AM.

I live on the most postholed street you can imagine, its a disgrace the condition its in - high time they fixed it.
This week I am working nights for the first time, the bastards decide to fix the fucking road. I have had eight hours sleep in three days and have to work my fifth consecutive fourteen hour shift in five hours time.
I am so unimpressed. Fuckers.

I think Red Bull is nasty. I tried it once and certainly wouldn't have it again. I didn't like the taste it had, and it did absolutely nothing for me in the way of waking me up.
