i got my shenmue 2 BUT BOTH CASES ARE SMASHED UP!

DAMNIT FUCKING DAMNIT!
I have been waitinf for my shenmue 2 and i got it today, and i was happy.
Than i took out the casesm and BOTH OF THE ARE SMASHED!!!!
I cant open them without taking off the whole front of the damn case.
And lucky me, i was gonna email special reserve, but i went to cutomer service and they say they dont offer costumor service through email!
So i either have to call the UK or send a letter, from the US!
I guess i have to live with it, BUT DAMNIT!
That pisses me off!

I had a similar problem with special reserve. They sent ShenMue 1. I called them and they said just send it back with a note.

And I'm still a little pissed about it. It's fucking stupid. They send the games in a little padded envelope? how much more does it cost to send in a small box?

It's like BuyRite.

Cuz i have been wanting this game forever.
Maby somone with an extra shenmue 2 will be kind enough to trade me or somthing.

Actually, I got it in the padded envelope and it came in mint condition. I guess I got lucky. I wont be dealing with them again, though, not after they screwed you guys.

Its not like i can just go pick up these cases anywhere.

LOL you poor guys having to deal with Special Reserve. There the biggest bunch of wankers ever. Rarely ever have the things they advertise in stock.

i just looked on NCS and i didnt see shenmue 2 UK.
Wheres some places i can get a new shenmue 2 UK, maby for X-mas i can get it replaced.

Special Reserve seemed respectable, and the total price for Shenmue 2 shipped to the US was $44. Yep, $11 cheaper than NCS's ($50+ shipping).

I sent back the game last tuesday, as I recieved it monday. I better get the replacement soon though.

It's still on their pre-orders page. Remember, most of these other places have been shipping before the official release date. NCS' supplier isn't going to ship before release. According to NCS' page, Shenmue 2 pre-orders go out on the 6th or 7th.

All UK Dreamcast cases are double. Simply pick up 2 cheap games and use the cases from those.

Good luck finding 2 spare UK cases without buying a couple of cheap games...

As I said in another post, Sega Europe are too cheap to send out replacement cases to stores <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

I ordered mine from special reserve too, this past thursday. I saw thereage.com has European Shenmue 2 for $49.00 in stock.
Good Luck...........guess I should cross my fingers too..

Try UK Ebay auctions...alot of ppl will ship to US...and as long as you ain't fussed about the games you could pick up 2 games for around £10..around $16.

The cases are fragile tho. Loads of my cases have broken....some by simply opening em. The part on the side that holds it in snaps. Better off keeping your shenmue disc in cd jewel cases if you want to keep the original ones in good condition.
