I just watched SLC Punk on IFC, and I realized how painfully true that movie was.
The director makes a good point: everybody's a poser all the time, yet nobody is a poser all the time either.
Let's face it: we all have different masks when we are with different people. We don't behave around wifes and girlfriends the way we do around our parents, friends, and co-workers. These attitudes are fickle and change over time.
Just some late-night mental masterbation. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

We all have to pretend a little to be ourselves and when we move on and become something else, we tend to look back and laugh at how phony we were. The trick, I think is to never take yourself too seriously and always look at who you are with a sense of irony.
