Has anyone else played this awesome DDR clone? Recently, I went to a mall near my friend's house and he showed me a cool little arcade that had DDRMax2 and some other rip-off of it. I played the actual DDR cab a little, but then it started to get a little crowded, so I decided to check out the other cab. I was actual very surprised at how good it was. It has the 4 arrow set-up like DDR, but you can also set it to do a five arrow (like Pump - Feel the Beat) or all 8. You can even switch during the song. The only draw-back to this is, it's kind of hard to kick the obnoxious little kid who hit the button to piss you off, while you're dancing. It also had very good music, unlike the other DDR ripoffs. Apparently, Korean pop is very cool.

It ran on the F-12 System (I think) which I had never heard of, so I'm assuming there isn't any console release, but MAN this was cool.

Yeah, I played it for a while ( while my arcade had it, 2-3 weeks - it just wasn't making any money ). The song selection is nowhere near DDR's song selection, and it's 100% K-Pop...
I think it's better than PIU, though.

DDRMAX2 is the best! ;)

Techno Motion is... okay. I didn't have much time with it, but I don't think I needed much more anyway... it seems like it would get old very fast.

While it does have some great K-Pop songs, most of the awesome ones have already been in DDR or Pump it Up at some point anyway (Ba Kkwo, Wa, Final Love, Starian, Tell Me Tell Me, Gagaai, etc...). 8-panel mode was pretty confusing, I didn't really have that much fun playing that. I do however like the fact that Double only costs one credit, like on Pump it Up. But whoever came up with some of those steps were smoking crack. 1P side D and 2P side U at the same time? give me a break...

DDRMAX2, on the other hand... we finally got it a month ago and I've been spending a good portion of each weekend playing. That I won't get sick of for a LONG time.

Yeah, it was okay. I really wish I had gotten to play more DDRMax2, but there was a huge line.
