Great! XBOX Experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a nay sayer. I thought it would suck. Boy was I completely wrong! The games on this machine rock! Halo is one of if not the best game I have ever played and Dead Or Alive 3 is fun and visually amazing! I havnt had a single hiccup from the machine it has performed flawlessly. Bring on Halo 2. The XBox makes the PS2's graphics look dated.

i've only played halo and amped and I wasnt impressed with the graphics much at all. Mgs2 on ps2 looks much better than halo or amped. Halo was good but not that great and amped was just mediocore. Ill stick with ps2 for now

Your loss! Halo eats MSG2 for a snack and shits it out. None of that fixed camera B.S.. Get up close to the textures on the grass, rocks, the ship or anything and the detail remains! MGS2 is a good game but not even close to Halo. Not only does Halo smack down MGS2 on the 1 player game but it also offers MULTIPLAYER! With no drop in frame rates or textures! The PS2 just cant do what the XBox can. Just look at the hardware specs to start with it runs circle around the PS2. Play Halo a couple levels in and you'll understand what I am talking about. Believe the hype on Halo. I have owned a PS2 since its release and just this Christmas they are coming out with games that are worth owning. A whole year later! XBox comes on the scene with two AAA must own titles right out of the starting gates. I am just holding onto my PS2 to play Maximo then it will be a dust collector.

i played halo for about four hours and didnt seem to notice how much better the graphics were than mgs2

This is where it just comes down to opinion. You think Halo's better I think mgs2 is better.

I agree with you on the fact that ps2 didnt have enough great games at start.

Theres no reason to fight! Both MGS2 and Halo are incredible games but at the same time hard to really compare. It really comes down to personal taste.
