Ok, I went to the local arcade today. They had a couple of new games , including Soul Calibur 2 and PIU DX. Here's my first impressions of these games :
Soul Calibur 2 : The CPU is really dumbed down , even Inferno wasn't a challenge ( can he even block? ). I also played against a couple of human opponents , won most of the time. The gameplay is really similar to the original, but 8-way is easier... The whole game seens like it's simplified over Soul Calibur.
PIU DX : What's all the hype about? The cab isn't any good ( blurry projection screen ), the graphics suck ( compared to DDR , it's not as polished ), and the song selection is very poor ( unless it has time-unlocked or secret songs ). On my first impression, even Techno-Motion is better than PIU. Hell , even EZ2Dancer looks/plays better than PIU... I was really looking forward to try PIU, maybe I was expectim too much?
*braces for flames for preferring DDR over PIU*
