Anybody download the UT 2003 demo? Nothin' like a little first person mele.

We should get a few people together for a Neo-Geo.com UT competition... now that would be sweet!

you should warn people off the bat , the game is very intensive and requires alot out of a computer. 1 ghz + with a niice vid card

i just downloaded it, and was gonna make a post when i saw this one!

it's looking good so fara bit jerky though still needs a bit of work, that lightning gun totally sucks.

also i can't get the servers to refresh, and im on cable so i dont see the problem? probably not fully implented yet.

I thought it plays exactly like the old Unreal but with much much better graphics!

I'd be up for that.

I've been playing the demo for the last 24 hours and so far I've learned 3 things:

1) The graphics sure are purty (if your machine can run them)
2) It's not much different from the original UT
3) Lag in First-Person Shooters sucks major ass. Every server I've been on so far has had moderate to severe lag with this game.

I still like it though.

It's out?!?!?! Sweet god I'll be D/L'ing this one tonight in the lab!

Prolly will only run on my desktop. Luckily I got a Geforce2 Ultra. Damn thing cost $500 years ago, luckily I got it off a friend who just bought a new GeForce4 Ti 4700, so I got it damn cheap. This UT demo will show me whether or not I should upgrade my card (I'm thinking GeForce4 Ti 4200).

BTW, Briggs if you wanna get the whoopin then I'll let you know when I can get online and play.

oh yeah.

i just downloaded it. it looks great on my kyro-II. but my p2 350 cant really run it

it runs at about 2 fps, untill it crashes.

but in those 5 mins before it crashes, it looks awesome.

i really wanna play it, but me pc sucksass

I could probably host a server on my extra computer. I've got a 10 mbit internet connection at my university and the server would be a 1ghz P3 with 256 megs of ram.

I have only played the demo for 2 minutes though.
