How many pads did you destroy ‘accidentally’ by stepping on them, biting, or throwing them against the wall?
I remember the SNES pad being the most durable, while the DC controller was broken after only one kick. Since the controllers are getting more expensive I started having an already broken pad for punishment (not quite the satisfaction, though). Most of my controllers are being damaged while playing fighting games (a friend winning all the time by smashing buttons? – Not a good sign for the joypad…)
