I'm SOOOOOOOOO upset about this.. I've been a huge fan of The Beatles, and of George Harrison's for a looooooong time now.

Make fun of me all you want..But the world is now a little shittier, with him gone.

He was such a huge talent, in my eyes. What a great man.

I'm going to miss him

Damn...

At least he was immortalized on the Simpsons. I would die happy knowing that.

Wow... They showed a quick clip of his mansion on CNN... all I have to say is Goddam that guy lived in style. If his personal life was half as spectular as his house he died happy!

That's really sad.

Withing You Without You

"We were talking - about the space between us all
And the people - who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth - then it's far too late when they pass away

We were talking - about the love we all could share
When we find it - to try our best to hold it there - with our love
With our love we could save the world - if they only knew

Try to realise it's all within yourself - no-one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you

We were talking - about the love that's gone so cold
And the people who gain the world and lose their soul
They don't know, they can't see - are you one of them?

When you've seen beyond yourself
then you may find peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come when you see we're all one
And life flows on within you and without you"

The Beatles music is going to be around FOREVER!!! You begin to think that about the people in the band as well. It's bafiling for something like this to happen, it just doesn't click right away.

I agree with the world is a little shittier now comment.

Sad day,

Well, there goes an otherwise cheerful day. And to die at only 58 years old. I'm.... speechless. But, I'm glad that he got to live a very fulfilling life as a member of one of the most revolutionary rock & roll bands ever.

"He died with one thought in mind - love one another." -Gavin De Becker

He never got the credit he deserved when The Beatles were together, then people did not take him seriously for the longest time after they split. R.I.P. George. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

I don't like the beatles, but it's true that's one of the greatest group of all times.
