Ok, I was switching some hard drives around, and now my floppy drive doesn't work despite that it's plugged it. There is only one part plugged in though and that's the ide cable. Is there another connection that I'm missing? Thanx.

that's what I thought, but I don't see one lol. I guess I hit it or something and it fell out... I thought maybe the power came through the IDE cable or something. thanx, I'll look again.

da power cables usually joined from da bigger/main power line, ie: from Harddisk or CD drivers power line.

when u try to connect it, there's only 1 way to plug in. do not force if u cant fit into it.

2 things i can think of, try flipping the floppy cable over, if that doesn't work. take the battery out of the motherboard for 1 minute to reset the cmos, those are usually the 2 main problems

I got it to work, thanx a lot to everyone that gave me advice but it turned out that I just needed the power cord in (I couldn't find the port for a while nor could I find the power cable, but I did). Now to format this thing lol. My dad thanks you all to <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
