Well back when I was a kid I use to play with legos about as much as I played videogames, granted that was a shit load. Anyway I have created quite a few great things over the years. Two creations that stick out in my mind were a GIANT seven story hotel, and of course, the Mad Max esque monster truck. The hotel stood around 5 feet tall with a working elevator, working lights, and a helecopter landing pad on the roof. The Mad Max vehicle was a work in progress over a couple of years. Meaning I would build it, and then destroy it and start from scratch. Anyway, it was quite impressive with it's 6 inch balloon tires, and massive amounts of weaponry and armor.

All I did with them was built them the way the booklet told me and then went crazy with them. Damn I loved LEGOS. I remember when I was about five years old; I just had seen on TV "HalloweeN" and that scared the crap outta me. Then I went in my brother's room, saw his big Lego space station and couple figures, and started pretending the yellow looking guard was Jamie Lee Curtis and the dark space man with the black visor-- Michael Myers.

My favorite and most sentimental Lego set was a very simple, 64-piece pirate set. I remember seeing it at Target, on clearance for a measly 5 bucks. I hid it in the toothbrush section til my mom came. Then I convinced her. It was an awesome set, came with 3 figures and had a little jail cell, and nooks and crannies in which to stage your battles.

Pretty cool huh, 5.00 for Lego and you're set to play or 5.00 for a Ninja Turtle figure....

And hey, I was into Turtle Mania...

LEGO's are just great. I have a shitload. I still build stuff, but I haven't touched them for the last month or two. My notable creations are prob:

-a colosseum..looks pretty cool
-a forestmen fort with landscape..this thing is great..mountains and forest..i love it.
-i made some mechs that look cool too. one could actually chnage from ship to a bad-mech..i thought it was pretty sweet
-i also made a not-so-good castle town and a pretty cool church-thing-place

if you guys want to see some really great lego creations go here:

My parent used to buy me lego to keep me away from these war toys-(Airfix)-
and all i built were fortresses and tanks for my 'Army Men'..

I never came around to build a real 'masterpiece' because all my creations were soon destroyed in the battles-i fondly remember a 'launcher' built with a few blue rails and a thick rubber band-i could shoot batteries with that thing-the effect was devastating...
