Low serial number, European AES

hi...

im new to the scene and yes, i used the search option to find other threads like this (but i dont feel lucky after reading them <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> ). So, i have a european AES (PAL?) with serial number : 2750. So whats the special thing with that low number? anyone could explain? (i heard there are problems with some revisions, but which ones?).

PS: Does the Neo play a sound when booting up and theres no cart inserted? (I couldnt test that due to some reasons, i got mine today!).

no i dont think there is a problem its just taht simply if ur AES is old then its probably worn and maby faulty, but if it has been in good hands it should be fine. ne ways i wanted to tell ya welcome to Neo-Geo.com and i hope u enjoy it here <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

no, the neo doesn't play the sound if a cart isn't inserted, it's part of the actual game....nothing different gameplay wise with yours, just maybe made with more costly parts. If i'm correct there are 7 revisions of the neo

how come my board is 33000 but it fits into the LATER revisions (5-7) of the board..?

I thought this was strange when I was doing the stereo mod..
