I was always cool with Shawn until all this happened, but that is to be expected when something gets lost with no confirmation (long story).

I value Shawn as a Neo fan, Neo collector, fellow lifter, dog lover, and as a person.

When I first heard that Shawn made some bad posts about "Dion, Chris, and NGF" I was shocked. Chris was also in shock because we had made so many deals with Shawn and he was so happy with them. In Shawn;'s own words, he made many deals with NGF for unreleased cartridges worth over $10,000.00, so why would we want to lose him as a customer for a $350 deal? Shawn also send me $1500 for a Metal Slug and Gowcaizer, if I wanted to trick him, I would have kept his money and not sent him anything. So keeping his Slug 3 made no sense to us., and it should have made no sense to Shawn, as well as all the other people who were watching this little "drama" unfold.

We really didn't know what was going on. We thought Shawn was just saying bad things about us to make himself look better. We just figured it was another person trying to gain fame by denouncing "NGF." But we were really amazed at how everyone could think NGF would do this after making so many BIGGER deals with Shawn.

We sold Shawn ALL of his unreleased NGF cartridges and he kept buying many more. I have emails where he told me personally that I was such a big help to him and that he really valued his NGF carts more than any other released Neo cart because the NGF unreleased cartridges are the ones that show the true dedication of a Neo collector.

Everyone, including Shawn must realize that these cartridges are "made to order" and can take time. Especially if we don't have all the parts in stock. That is why we suggest to people to buy all parts needed, and just send everything to us to convert. This way it will be faster for everyone, and the buyer doesn't have to fork out all the money in one shot. The buyer can buy all the parts one piece at a time, as he has the money, and then send all the parts to NGF for the finalization of turning the MVS into an AES cartridge for only another $70.00 - and then you're done. When Shawn and myself finally put all our bad feelings aside, and really stuck to the issue of figuring out what to do with his Slug 3, we came to a mutual agreement that is working out perfectly for Shawn.

Shawn is a smart person and we considered eah other "friends," and we "were friends," so I was actually really trying and attempting to help in in all ways I could.

Shawn, If I ever came off wrong or arrogant, I am sorry. I thought you were just joing up and just "saying" you didn't get the game to make "Dion" look bad.

Once again, I am sorry if I said anything to upset you. I want everything to work out and have you start building your Neo collection and get you the last few NGF carts that you need.

Like I said about shipping games or other items, it is on the senders shoulders to make sure everything goes through smoothly.

It is ALWAYS the SENDERS responsibility for a package to arrive to the buyer.

You can see how all these false rumors and lies are starting to be put away, and that's why Mike originally made this forum post and invited me to take and confront everyone.

I hope you get your package soon and we can put this unfortunate turn of events behind us. Now maybe we can get you those last few NGF carts that you need. If that Slug 3 does arrive to your door one day, I hope you will let me know and send it back to me.

I hope we can continue helping you in your quest to complete your collection.

This sounds very good. Dion is a Neo fan with knowledge. The only thing now is to respect other peoples money and worry. The NGF service got little bit out of hand, but is hopefully now fix'd. I have not made any deals with Dion or NGF but I may do that in near future.
To get the tracking nr and shipping confirmation on EVERY package,is a way for NGF to be on the secure side.

As for Shawn, i hope he will be satisfyed with the deal he now made. I just hope that the other people, who had problems, that these will be solved as well. You don't have to be Shawn or have his influence in Neo gommunity to get right with NGF.

Hey I just want the lies to stop. That's been my whole arguement with Dion, Quit ducking certain questions and approach everything with an honest way, don't be a dick to your customers, make sure that all deals you do are always confirmed so the buyer can feel safe he is getting what he paid for and finally be honest about what you sell. It's hard for you just to come out and say NGF converts MVS carts and makes them playable on Home systems. These are not Originally produced by SNK but they play just the same. Now that's not hard to do is it? Just quit with the Official NGF or NGF all the way because it leaves a bad taste in people mouths when you are so arrogant and once again don't pass that off as a character trait. Treat your Customers nice and they will be more than happy to buy from yu all the time. Like I said before and I'll say it again. you did an excellent deal with me and that's that. But that doesn't make me support you when you lie so much. After all, It's only business.

We clearly say these are conversion. We don't hide that. WE offer conversion to people for $70* if they want. We are here to help.

I have received the MS3 (Japanese version) and unreleased Captain Tomaday home carts from Dion. The condition and completeness was as described. No manual for Captain Tomaday, but none was expected. I removed Dion and Chris (NGF) from the Black Book and accepted the escrow to release the $500 for the middle ground deal we made. I may continue to purchases from NGF through iescrow. They require a tracking #, and provide a nice security blanket for both parties involved.

I have suspended jason’s posting rights, since his contributions lack any positive content and appear to be redundant. I can’t tell people not to argue with Dion, nor would I ask people to kiss his ass. It would be nice if we could all discuss the neo together. I’m convinced that Dion has put forth good deal of effort towards the right direction. He obviously put forth a lot of effort into the posts at this forum. 167 posts in one weeks time earns him a certain degree of membership here. Most of his posts are long and have a great deal of content. He has fought hard to defend his name, where others would have given up long ago. We may not agree with all of his opinions, but I for one enjoy reading them. All I ask is that we try to get along.

I have been trying to read through the posts and I agree with Shawn and Dion. Why is it the neo community has to behave like jerks? I have read the posts put out by Dion and all the others seem to do is attack him or his character. Basically Billkwando, JM Kurtz, Jason, and I think 2 more. 5 against 1 isn't too fair. And those 5 are just saying the same junk over and over again, and not making any sense or showing any facts the their claims. I know I would be angry myself. And after he keeps getting attacked time after time, I would expect him to leave. Dion come back. Never mind the people that are instigating fights, they are just attention seekers. You have helped Shawn and I think NGF is in a much better and respected light now. I think what you and your company are doing is great and I will get some NGF games soon. This I promise.

Dion came to this board for one reason. To seek attention. He knew by coming here that flames would fly and that people would feel sorry for him. He plays this game all the time. If you hang around long enough, it will happen again. He'll be back, don't worry.

I was a-ok with Dion/NGF, up until he felt the presence of others doing Inserts & stickers and started playing dirty.

Ok, Shawn's simply being fair. I see that he's gone back on his word to me about reporting dion to the ifcc, and that he paid dion (474 after the escrow fee) for an extra game, in order to get the game he already payed for. Again, this is how NGF gets people to play right into their hands, just like Geddon had to buy a copy of Shinoken from Chris Ray in order to get the two games HE already ordered. People always end up playing "nice nice" with "NGF" because apparently having new games is more important than having integrity. (no offense guys! I know Geddon was just trying to get his stuff)

Like jerks?? You weren't around when dion was saying "I AM NEO GEO" and making BLATANTLY racist remarks on a public Neo Geo mailing list.

In the time that I've known of dion, he's lied and done more fucked up things than I can count, but here are a few:

1) Claimed all MVS games were also released on home cart. (a blatant lie that can be backed up by JMK and many others)

2) Lied about his hit count. Said he had 500,000 hits, when he actaully had less than 50,000. (shawn the webmaster can confirm this)

3) Emailed me, TELLING me to ban people who didn't like him, basically trying to throw his weight around as Neo God, saying that they needed to go. I told him that I needed a reason. He didn't provide one, and left in a huff.

4) Claimed to be preparing to PRINT a US version of NeoGeo Freak Magazine. That's why he has the NGF URL, because he was claiming to have ties with the REAL NGF: http://www.neogeofreak.co.jp
and saying that he had a magazine coming out, that was SUPPOSED to be out MONTHS ago. Everyone reacted like "whatever" but dion and chris kept claiming that they had a mag coming out. Since they obviously don't, they obviously have no claims or rights to the Neo Geo Freak.com URL, trademarks or logos. They have since backpeddled on the mag, but it was obvious that this was their plan from the beginning.

Start the excitement about a MAG going, then use the site you CLAIM to be for a publication, to sell games. Big surprise.

5) Sold the "Irritating Maze homecart, which they claim can be played with a trackball, but cannot be played AT ALL. Also they claimed that they would have a Certificate Of Authenticity FROM SNK. In an UNPRECEDENTED move, Alicia Barone (the SNK Prez's daughter), actully came down to Yahoo! Clubs and stated that this was NOT TRUE and that SNK had in NO WAY endorsed the IM project, and that they never promised a certificate either. She also said she didn't know how dion would get the carts to sell, because they simply WILL NOT be playable on the home cart unit, PERIOD. (I also have the posts to prove this along with at least 50 people who saw it)

6) Tried to buy up every copy of Metal Slug X from SNK, in order to paint them orange, raise the price, and make it an "NGF" only title.

7) dion ripped off Shinichirou Mukaigashira, owner of Supersellers. These are Shinichirou's EXACT words, which you can confirm by emailing him:

"I know a man called Dion Dakis. The software of NeoGeo has been sold to him before. However, since he has doubt which is carrying out the criminal act, he is taking care not to be concerned. (The unjust copy, forgery, etc. of a product package)

He has not yet paid the price of the goods purchased from me about 6
months before. (about $600!!) It is very disreputable although his action is seen by news group or mailing list.

(There are many grievances in goods transactions) His transactions are not recommended."

8) Tried to pass off his shoddy goods as "official SNK" for a long time. Eventually, when cornered, he admitted: "All the parts and materials are 100% SNK and the inserts are printed from SNK didgital files" Still, the games were assembled by dion, and thus, were NOT OFFICIAL in any way. (some selling for as much as $900, because they were believed to be genuine.

dion's angle was "I can find games nobody else can" and the fact was, this was true because dion made these games himself. (from parts) After being exposed for selling converted carts, dion claims suddenly that he said they were converted all along... another lie.

9) (from GUI LONG) ADOL WAS RIPPED OFF BY dion WHO SENT HIM A CONVERTED NEO CART "SHOCK TROOPERS" ADOL SCANNED THE CART AND THE PICTURE STILL RESIDES IN THE "SNKNEOGEOWARROOM" YAHOE CLUB. dion SENT THIS FAKE CART AND ADOL GOT MAD RIPPING THE STICKER ON THE CART......dion HAD ALSO WRITTEN HIS NAME IN THICK BLACK PERMANET MARKER ON THE BACK AND THE INSERT WAS MERELIE A PHOTOCOPIED EDITED PIC OF THE MVS MARUQEE PICTURE.......UPON SENDING THE CART BACK dion CLAMED ADOL HAD PAID THE 400 FOR THE STICKER THAT HE HAD RIPPED AND GAVE ADOL SOME RIPPOFF DEAL TO THE VALUE OF AROUND $100 AS COMPENSATION IF I REMEMBER THIS ONE CORRECTLIE(YOU CAN ASK ADOL THIS YOURSELF FOR A BETTER EXPLANATION)

and this is among poorly dealing Garg7, Shawn, Geddon, and many others.

10) _I_ stated that when Mouse Master/Keith Scroggins called dion in Las Vegas, dion never answered or returned his calles or emails, even though he was in town. _I_ THEN stated that this was perhaps because dion was afraid that Keith would want to see his fictional Ironclad cart (a CD only game). Keith had sent dion money for two games previously, and upon hearing my opinion on why dion didn't respond to Keith, dion counters with "Well then, since Keith thinks I'm afraid to meet him, then he can just come to Vegas and GET his games." Keith never said ANYTHING, but this is how dion A) controls what people say by holding them hostage over prepaid goods B)proves the fact that dion's mood affects his business practices, and that he's entirely unprofessional.

You are one person who OBVIOUSLY doesn't know what's up. Jeff is THE most reputable person to deal with in the COMMUNITY! His word IS fact.
