First one, any hints on the games that are coming???? Since you say they are in development, it would be interesting to hear about them, like what genre, so on...

I would pay maybe $5 for a seguel to Fight Fever. You are making no sense saying that anything is better than nothing. Is a having a piece of shit better than not having piece of shit? OK, first off, yes, Trey and myself created the artwork for Digger Man. We *ARE NOT* selling copies of the artwork or the game. We have never intended to do this, and most likely, we never will.

Second, I can not, in good spirits, put the artwork back online, as it is not my website. It is Trey's website, who is currently on a leave of absence, but should be back in the next couple weeks. (And I am in Indiana now so.....)

Right now, the only way to get a copy of Digger Man, currently, is to obtain a MVS copy of the game (Good luck, they stopped appearing for sale) and sending that copy, only with a suitable sac cart, to someone like Jeff Kurtz to convert for you. I do not know if anyone else is converting this game right now. Whether or not the person who converts the game provides artwork that we created is a none issue. Of course, our only issue is that the artwork should not be misrepresented, like a certain Ebay seller tried to do....

Why would people want to pay that much more for a cart that sdaly looks like it should only be about $0.00 at the MOST. Oh and don't give me that I can't afford it line. If I remember quite clearly I was the one who paid $425.00 for Last Blade 2 on ebay so long ago which I double checked and the price for that cart starting going up along with people on ebay trying to unload that game to make a highass profit like you do. So in general if it's no you its always someone else who jacks up the prices for honestly shitty games.

NCS passed on Digger Man? I seem to KNOW that they didn't have enough preorders for the game. They only had abot 60 preorders, and they needed a LOT more if they were to get the game in quantities to make it affordable.

And, Digger Man won't be a game for all. It's for the collectors and people that like puzzle games.

To address the situation on "official NGF."

When we say the word ""official NGF," we say this as exactly that......"NGF official."

We have nothing to do with then SNK and now Aruze other than being a distributor and that we have permission to sell their products and buy them wholesale direct.

We don't say these are "original Aruze" inserts, we say "original NGF inserts."

It can be the same as other people creating their own inserts, but we seem to be more recongized in the collectors market.

We market these "NGF inserts" as a standard for the complete Neo library. With all of the errors that come from SNK-USA, we felt the urge to correct them, and that is what we have done.

Sears did the same thing with their "Telegames" cartridges in which they put their stickers and art on Atari 2600 cartridges. Sure, we are not in the same ball park or league with Sears and Atari, but I am just using them as an example or "re-worked" art on video games.

The NGF products do seem to sell well in the collectors market. Many people already have our products, and we would like to serve more Neo collectors as well.

Many people have even sold our NGF cartridges for the exact amlount in which they paid, which proves that they do have a good resale value. And this is what being an "official NGF" cartridge is all about.

We at NGF hope we haven't caused too much confusion with the way we have been saying "official NGF," but it's just that..."official NGF."

Try not to think too hard on it. It's just a phrase.

I'm not going to say you screwed me because you didn't but your ability to answer my questions in my email and calling me a lyar about that used SSIV cart on your mailing list still kinda chaffs me slightly.

Even when you said that maybe my friend living in Sendai may have read the price wrong, I took it under consideration that he maybe did.

I asked him about it and he told that was excatly how he read it.

The only reason he mentioned it to me because he found it that dirt cheap.

2nd I also inquired about the condition thinking maybe the cart might have been damaged but he told me that wasn't the case and the cart was near mint.

It was a shop like others he encountered that were trying to clear out their old stock for new games and systems coming out at the time.

Oh and just to prove a point.

I got a Metal Slug 1 from him used in Near mint condition for $150.00 when he got back to the states.

I was personally floored about why it was so cheap then it dawned on me that a lot of people like you like to drive the price up for no apparent reason other than saying it's a good title or rare.

I mean come on dude, $700.00 for a Mint U.S. Samurai Shodown IV?

I just got a mint copy from a good freind of mine and he only charged me $425.00 which I think is a lot more reasonable than what you're asking for.

I've also looked at Shawn's prices closly and even tho he is a bit high on some of his games his prices are a lot more eaiser to swallow than you're talking about. *sigh*

Like I said this isn't about that deal we did Dion, I will gladly tell eveyone that asks or inquires about it that Dion did a good deal with me.

I know people like Dion. I know how they work. There's sort of a morality lock on most human beings that, once thrown, takes one down a path that's difficult to turn away from. Watch Apocalypse Now...it sort of bears relevance to this situation. But I've also brought the people I've know like him to justice, when they've stepped far enough out of line. I feel the time is now to do that to Dion.

From all the information I've seen, Dion and Chris are clinging to a base, animalistic instinct...to succeed as much as possible, by any means. And in order for one to do that, they have to find a way to convince themselves that they are right.

Enter Neo Geo Freak. With the reassurance of friends, a cover is created...that Neo Geo Freak is the future of Neo Geo Games in the World, and that SNK is in full cooperation with this.

Enough of that.

All of us know what's really going on here, because Dion and Chris are definitely not intelligent individuals. They have let everything slip about their operation, making the lies very, very easy to spot. What we have here is full-fledged Neo-Geo cart piracy, with constant false assurance authenticity as "official" carts. What we have is money sent, and no goods returned. What we have is a mountain of documented lies, confirmed by the liars themselves when they talk to multiple people, trying to play all sides of the field. What we have is some serious price fixing, causing a direct inflation in the prices of all carts. We all know this, we've all seen it. Neo Geo Freak, before and after it existed in name, has caused immense ruin to the Neo-Geo market...ruin caused by two imbeciles who are proud of it and their fat wallets.

Dakis, Ray, you and your friends are probably the lowest scum on the bottom of videogaming as a whole...you've made a "business" out of cheating people. But you can only do that for so long...

Yeah the U.S. Samurai Shodown IV was high but seeing as it was complete with everything
inculded, I had no reason to gripe. I enjoy the Neo as a System a lot but I just can't stand to deal with people like Dion who lies and accuses people of lying. I probably wouldn't be an ass so much if he had apologized about it but he never did. I knew that even if he did now it would not make any difference to me. Allow me to explain this small tale.

Awhile back when I was on Dion's mailing list there was a conversation about Samurai Shodown IV. During that period my friend Jagged had gotten back to the states from Sendai after living there for a year. He did a lot of shopping for me and thanks to him, I haven't had to pay the insane prices some people get stuck with for Neo games. He mentioned that he had found a Mint Copy of a Japanese Samurai Shodown IV sitting in a used bin for $15.00 bucks. Now naturally I was shocked about this so I asked him if he read that right and he said yes.

*Quick note: In Japan used games stores are nothing like American ones. Shops that have used games are known to have their stuff in pristine condition all the time. If it is not then they usually get rid of the game for almost nothing. Just food for thought.*

Now getting back to the subject at hand. I of course mentioned this little bit of info I had found out on Dion's list which I admit now was a bad mistake. Dion returns right out of the blue with the words, ' It's amazing how some people will lie to get attention. http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/smile.gif' Now that really PISSED me off to no end and I ripped into Dion about his smartmouth comment. He then goes off and tries to prove that there was no way that cart could be found that cheap and then flies it off with saying.' I am just sort of chip in to this topic. I may have not read all the mat'l here.
I can't just sitting idle either.
But, I just want to throw out my opinion.

Anyway, I also have been watching Dion/NGF from the sideline as well. I maybe have a dissapointed deal with him previously.
But, Dion did a good customer service for my deal so far. He is willing to do what it takes to fix it. That's why my recent deal is one of the best Neo deal I've ever had.

I almost got my nerve to Dion also due to bad postings in this forum. I almost argue with him and asking him why you got bad postings. I am not an bad temper guy so I would never want to draw fight unless it is necessary (or if it is about protecting my family) and there is no valid reason to be really mad to Dion. really? it is just about a bit expensive price (or about unofficial insert) and you can negotiate with him. Do not deal if you don't want it.
And the insert that he design is good.
We do anything to make our collection better.
people doing crazy thing for their collection (like me). Dion or NGF are trying to help by designing special insert. I am sure it started from insatisfaction of him of some of the older Neo home carts so they design NGF insert. He figure must be someone in the world are thinking the same. Why all my US home carts have a Neogeo logo from the side but one or two (i.e. ninja combat, sengoku). People have different tastes.

I know there must be something that "Dion" or NGF do that makes some people against him.
But, I am trying to "END" the war here ;not keep this war. Dion by himself are trying hard to fix the problem. and keep the positive attitude in this forum and type A LOT. We have to give him a chance. He maybe got a bit sensitive but if I am in his situation, I will do the same thing. People sometimes are lying to protect their butt. Do you? If you work in the company, I am sure you once are trying to protect your nice butt by a bit lying. And you know he/she is lying but you choose to ignore it.
It is just natural.

Plus about rip off price:

Spending money is about "taking risk".

They may be jealous about the knowledge you have or cause you are allmost the "only sourse" in rare gamecarts. But it can allso be that people are still pissed about how they'r deals went with NGF. For me now it seems that NGF and you Dion are forgiven from Neo community. BUT, if same kind of problems will once again occur with NGF, then the Neo-Geo community, will not forgive.
Who am I to speak such words, but it will be most likly so.

I personally think that there will not be any more problems with NGF. The problems where solved here. Once for all.

Robi, there were no "sour deals" from "Dion" or "NGF." Those were all lies.

We NEVER just ignored someone and told them "tuff luck."

We always try to help the Neo fans.

The one with Shawn was a sad occurance, but I took care of that problem and gave him FREE shipping and bonus items. He already said he got the items, so hopefully Shawn will feel more comfortable getting back into the last few Neo carts he needs to complete his collection.

But it's nice to see at least ONE person is saying that NGF is OK now.

But like I said, we always have been. I don't know why those jealous people started all those rumors in the first place.

Believe it or not, he contacted me about 2 years ago. I guess I was on some mailing list he had from somewhere... he was offering Neo carts for sale.

Out of fun, I asked how much a Real Bout US AES cart was going for.

He replied back that the price was $ 750.00

Needless to say, I didnt buy the cart. When I told him, he tried to play on my ego about being a true collector and the pride of owning such a rare cart....
