After you list your problem, list the means of restitution that would ebable you to deal with NGF again.

This is for Dion to read and to act upon either the right way or the wrong way.

Not exactly a bad deal, but an incomplete deal so far. The other deals I have had have gone fine, sometimes taking a little long, but the deals were completed successfully...

You all complain when NGF states that something is "worth X amount of dollars".....saying "NGF is charging to much" or "that game is only worth $10"...but then others sell the same item for the same price as NGF....I don't see people complain then. Look at Shawn's prices for games he's selling, pretty much the NGF standard.

I didn't give you the tracking number because when I was online, I didn't have it near me. I don't memorize those things.

Those are basically used when merchandise is lost. It's not imprtant that you get the number the day I send the package, just as long as you get the packag. If you had given me more time or got worried about your package being late or something, I would have given it to you - no problem. Or if you would have let me send youthe tracking number later in the day, I just didn't have it at my side.

The very next day when I got online - to send you the tracking number.....you emailed me and said you received the item.

So why all the drama about a tracking number?
You got your item in 2 days.

And I NEVER contacted people on eBay offering to sell them something they were bidding on. I told one person that the adapter he was bidding on didn't work with all the games - as the seller stated. He askd if I had one for sale, and I said "No."

I told him to feel free to bid on the item, but not to expect it to work with all games.

I love how people are always looking to make new friends at the expense of others. Just join the bandwagon and be part of the team. Typical.

I may get my MS3 after all. I paid for the 3rd time on this MS3, but this time through iescrow. $100 towards my MS3 and $400 for Captain Tomaday. So now I’m in $450 for an English version NGF MS3 that I originally purchased for $284. We struck this deal over a couple hours of ICQ negotiations, but he only offered the SNK version MS3. The total escrow was $520 after the iescrow commission of 5%. Once I receive the Japanese version MS3 (non NGF,), and of course the unreleased Captain Tomaday home cart, I will remove NGF from the black book. I am now neutral on this issue, as I am awaiting completion of this deal. I don’t intend on banning Dion or anyone else.

I’m personally against censorship. I would prefer not to delete or modify other people’s posts. Everyone has his or her place in the neo community, even Dion. What’s nice about these forums is that you can choose which topics you want to read or participate in, and everyone is welcome. I’m hoping that we can all get along and talk neo in a socially acceptable manner. However, sometimes issues arise. There will always be differences of opinions and so on. Arguments, or flame wars as some people call them, generally come to a closure. I feel like I am on the brink of obtaining closure with NGF concerning my MS3. It’s near 4am now, and I’m finished for the night. Will probably modify and add to this post in the morning.

I've told this story a million times, but I'm telling it again so the newbies will see what kind of crap revolves around Dion and 'NGF'.

Dion sold me a Japanese Ninja Masters cart which he said was genuine for $335 shipped. After a few months (I was new to th scene) I proved it to be a converted cart, not genuine. Dion denied this until heavy flames at Dolphin's resulted in him admitting he had sold me a converted cart with a fake insert. After heavy pressure, he said he would give me $150 for it to be returned to him.

I persisted posting, and he finally said he'd give me back my full $330. I shipped the cart to Dion very securely packaged, and to this day he says he never received it. BS I tell you....BS on top of the other BS he told me through the whole deal.

The boy lies, straight and simple and will screw anyone he decides to. It's totally random. Send him money, and you have about a %50 chance of getting what you want. Dion is a master of deception and the old 'run around'. Truth is not in his vocabulary.

How many times do I have to explain this?! I put it on ebay, after the auction closed I informed the bidder the cart was not genuine but played fine and he backed out. In addition he (Vlad) said he had been sold carts by you that also turned out not to be authentic.

This whole obtuse strategy is so typical of you.

You know I cannot prove the game was lost, as I didn't insure it or track it (I was pissed at all the money I was losing) and thats what protects you. Even if you didn't pocket it (in which case I WOULD appologize) I should never have been burdened by being sold and then having to return a black cart made to look authentic to a newbie.

I DONT HAVE THE CART and I'm out $330. Just in case, you should know I didn't pack a letter in with the cart, it was solo. Did you accept it not knowing who it cam from? The label with my return address was huge. Think long and hard. I'd like to put this to bed.

I have filled out every form I can, and contacted every person i can. The PO swares there is no trace of the package anywhere.

I am an unbiased third party and I am new to this bulliten board. I originally came to this bboard to do some research on neogeo and find out good sources to purchase games.

I don't want to pass judgement on anyone (especially someone who I have never dealt with personally) but I have to say I would never buy a game from Dion. I say this not just because of the piles of complaints against him, but just in the way he presents himself and talks to people. It is extremelly unprofessional. It is bad business to get in flame wars with customers (whether the accusations are true or not), it just plain looks bad. It is a real turn off.

Dion, here is some friendly business advice to you. It is not meant to be insulting...

Dion, you speak very arrogantly of NGF. I believe this arrogance puts a bad taste in people's mouth. It seems that the source of this arrogance, as well as NGF's major selling point, is that "NGF is the ONLY source for certain Neogeo games." While this may be true, you should not want people to buy from you because you are the ONLY SOURCE of these games. You should want people to buy from you because you are a GOOD SOURCE of these games. The reason for this is very simple: you may not ALWAYS be the only source. If people are irritated by you, but continue to buy from you because you are the sole source, they will quickly leave you once another source becomes available. This is just BAD business. Many business have gone out of business for this very reason.

I've been evaluating this war between NGF and maybe some Neo geo fans/collector.I felt like in the middle of this. They are both are supplier of Neo geo home carts. I myself become worry of Neo Freak after reading all complaints about NGF in this forum. But, I choose to ignore and judge him myself.
By the way, before I start writing, I would like to thank Shawn for creating this forum. I am sure it helps lots of Neo geo fan and neo buyer.

Anyway,
I am a new Neo home cart collectors but a long time Neo fan (since it is released).

And about Shawn MS3 deal. My personal opinion is that Shawn does not get his MS3. He is speaking the truth about the deal. But, I think Dion does not deserve all this negative feedbacks. I want to try end this war and clean this mess up. Like Mike's comment on "Squash it", we are a small Neo community (I think).

Dion on the other hand try to get MS3 to pay him back. I predict this since he wants my MS3 and he mention he wants to give it to a customer that waiting for this. This customer (I predict) is SHAWN. Maybe I am wrong but this is just my intuition.

My suggestion to Dion is ,please, be patience a little. I think you either having a hard time (maybe) due to the bad comments or maybe you are a bit too sensitive and gets mad easily. I am sure lots of fans worry to you including me due to these complaints of NGF.

To Shawn, please, help to end this and maybe support each other. I myself have to wait for 3 months to finally get US Ninja Masters (plus other carts of course) in which I paid $1400 and waiting like crazy (keep e-mailing the guy with sometimes a bit rude or friendly reminder). I am still calm down. Or please, Jason (I do not know you but your comment hurts people whether it is true or lie). I know how it feels to spend over $1500 and waiting for months before getting the carts. been there done that. But, Neo home carts not come by every once a while. Just be patience. Learn from mistake. Do the deal when they have the carts in "STOCK" rather than pay cheaper and wait long.

I hope these big comments help everybody. I am not in favor of either one of them. I am just a third party who like to chip in and throw up my honest comments about NGF (or Dion).

To Smokeya, I don't think I am arrogant, I am just VERY direct with what I say. Maybe I am too proud, but that is just me. And "Dion" alone is not "NGF."

You don't have to like me personally, but that is one thing and business is another.

And if you value your NeoGeo and are looking for a special game, I have no problems of dealing with you or anyone else.

My only gripe is all the negativity from people when they are online - safe in their bedroom. I have dealt with these types of people, and when you finally meet them in person they are your best friend.

I see how EVERYONE is so watchful of "NGF," and we know it. Our page shows the hits."We know the Neo scene needs a "Dion" "Chris" and a "NGF." The Neo people need something or someone that can talk about and/or hate. At first it was "We hate the evil that SNK-USa does by not bringing out certain games released in Japan." Now, "Dion" is the "man you love to hate." http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/smile.gif And "NGF" has taken the place of "SNK-USA" with the fans (negativity wise).

I don't mind, as long as people don't start getting personal and making up things about "bad deals."

So feel free to talk about why "Dion" or "NGF" is this or that, but the bottom line is, "Dion" and "NGF" have single handedly turned the Neo around and made it WAY up in value in turns of game prices and collectibility.

"Dion" is just a flavor. Very bold and very outspoken. I do all the PR work for the NeoGeo. I promote and bring something to the table to talk about. And soon, "NGF" will be bringing out NEW games for the NeoGeo system.

Other people may TALK of doing things, but NGF does them. (talkers vs. doers). And we do this not because of money or anything, but because "NGF" is the biggest group of NeoFreaks around. We do this because we ENJOY the NeoGeo. Probably more than all other fans and all other freaks.

Just remember to look at our collection and think back to how big of Freaks "NGF" must be. Remembr that NGF members are NeoFreaks and are proud to say "We own a NeoGeo."
