Current huge scandal going on at the moment, and its a doozy.

This is being reported by the Washington Post, and was essentially confirmed by the DOJ as they requested some of the information to be withheld. That information, which has leaked from some reliable sources, is that the intel came from Israel in relation to ISIS. Trump gave this information away for no other reason than to brag about the amazing intelligence he receives.

We to impeach this traitorous fuck ASAP.

I'm watching Fox News right now. It's hilarious. They're saying the report is not true because McMasters and Powell, who were in the room, say the Washington Post report is untrue. Of course they're going to say it's untrue. :lolz: They're also saying it's not a big deal because the president is allowed to declassify information at will. My favorite part is that the Fox News anchors are saying that the Washington Post article is unreliable because they won't reveal their anonymous source. Does anyone need a journalism degree to work at this fucking joke of a media outlet? Rule #1.

Claims the story is false. Reviewed a range of threats including civil aviation. At no times were intelligence methods or sources discussed. Only things that are already public were mentioned. The three people in the room who have spoken outweigh testimony of anonymous sources.

If it was Israel who provided the US the information, it won't really matter. They'll never stand up for themselves against the US, due to the military aide, etc.

They won't need to. They'll just have to choose not to provide intel behind the scenes.

I have a friend that has a lot of connections with intel agencies (he used to work in the cybercrime and cyberterrorism divisions of the CIA), and he let loose about the source being Israel about an hour before the news revealed it. If he's still accurate, he says Mossad is really, really pissed off.

:lolz: This has been disproven so many times, it takes a true imbecile to still believe it. Even the investigators into the Clinton Foundation admitted they fucked up. A) She, as Secretary of State AND as member of CFIUS, had zero veto OR approval power respective of the Uranium One deal. B) The uranium remains under US control and remains within the US itself. C) The donations that allegedly tie into this don't even correlate with the Uranium One timeline.

The issue isn't what the office allows, the issue is its use.

Giving top secret intel (so top secret its communicated in a very limited fashion and in code) to a nation that exists as a "frienemy" without any consultation is a huge issue. No president does that. The last one that did was Reagan, and that was after it was analyzed and considered in a very deliberate and careful manner. On top of that, Trump did it just to brag. No other reason.

By doing so, he has given Russia information they can reverse engineer. This puts the source of the info, and those related to that source, at very high risk of being exposed and killed. This also demonstrates that the US is not trustworthy enough for other countries to provide use secure intel.

The only reason he's not in jail right now is because the President is the only position that allows this. Any other position and you've violated the law up to levels of treason.

There's a reason why people in the intelligence community here and aboard are losing their shit. Even Trump allies in the GOP like Corker are turning against him.

EDIT - Israel is pissed and considering cancelling their meeting with Trump.

But yes, trump has the vocabulary, diction and eloquence of an 8th grader. Not a well adjusted 8th grader either. More like the one that is biding his time untill he can take voc-ed or drop out.
