At first, even Shawn asked me to come and post, but I told him it wouldn't be worth it and that it would be like this. And sure enough.

With the number of stupid posts from "certain members" and attacks, I figure - screw it. It's not worth the time anymore.

You guys seem to prove more and more that you are not Neo fans and that you don't really care about the NeoGeo, and you don't really want to talk about the NeoGeo.

You are more into the soap opera/drama of the big collectors and "NGF."

Well, have fun talking to one another.


I would have loved to keep talking about the NeoGeo (as you see I have been). I have a lot of knowledge and information to share, but as I have said before:
"the jealous crybabies have ruined the NeoGeo for all us True fans."

To all others, feel free to contact NGF or myself for any NeoGeo items. We will try to help in any way we can. We can provide system mods, Super NGF mods, and conversions. As well as provide art for unreleased cartridges.

If you'll lie about something as paltry as that, you'll lie about anything, and lie twice as much if there's money involved.

Listen, i don't really know any of you, but the more I read from Dion, the more I tend to think that he will in fact be reading this post. Dion, i'm sure you know a LOT about neo stuff, but don't go pointing the finger at other people for making this fourm a soap opera. I've been in here from almost day 1, and it was pretty normal until you showed up. I guess it makes you feel important that you get so many reactions (even this one), but why are you diluting this for everyone. I like to come here to look for neo news, info, and deals, but i always find myself reading through a bunch of arguements and nonsense that always seem to have you as the origin. I don't like or dislike you, because i don't even know you, and personally, i don't really care about your past. I would, however, like to read interesting (truthful) stuff that you have to share concerning the neo. I know i'm the last person that should be telling people what to include and what not to include in this forum, but doesn't everyone think that this arguement crap has gone far enough? (i mean, come on, who cares who played "diggerman" first?). If you are really concerned about neo fans and are truly a neo fan yourself, then handle these arguements in a seperate section of the forum and just label it the "Lets bicker with Dion" section. I realize that some visitors really get a kick out of arguing with dion, but some of us are sick of finding garbage messages in every section of the forum. Personally, i have learned a lot more personal stuff about people in this forum through these arguments then i want to know, i really don't think its any of my business. Again, i know my opinion doesn't really count for much, but i think you guys should really just calm down with the personal vendettas before you have all newcomers to the neo scene turning away and thinking the whole community is a bunch of loser freaks.

Don't jump to conclusions, I am not taking anybody's "side". I would just like to see some closure on this forum.

Why can't there be enough room for all of us? I think it's possible, and if you don't like what someone says, ignore it. It's that simple.

As small as the Neo*Geo community is, we would all be better off if we learned to play nicer =). After all, everyone here shares a common interest.

Dion seemed pretty easy-going and helpful in answering questions until he was provoked by various members. You can all judge me for defending his presence here... I don't care. I am a Neo enthusiast, and the Neo is my primary concern.

So why don't we all put aside the flame wars of the past and try to enjoy our games a little bit more. Let's put the negativity of the past behind. In fact, I hope to see everyone at the Neo gathering in Vegas this December. If we channel our energies into improving the Neo community and building positive relationships with other Neo freaks how can we lose??

Let's all be realistic. There ain't gonna be no "gathering in Vegas" this December. Think about it, look at all the factors, the people involved, the short timeframe, etc. and you'll realize I'm right. You guys have been in this for a long time. There are people that are just now trying to get into it and are being blown off by all this crap. Do you think you guys can carry all the weight yourselves in terms of a true community?

I think that this may be my last post as well. At least until this air becomes breathable again. Right now it's so thick you can smear it with a butter knife.

Umm.... Pardon my ignorance, but I see no REASON why my name should be included in this little tirade. I'll point out that nothing negative came out of my mouth about NGF or Dion.

So, since you opened the can of worms, how am I to blame?

I, along with a group of other people (some are listed) are working for the betterment of the Neo Geo community. What we do is placed out for the world to see, and to obtain without incredible expense. If this practice is tearing the Neo Geo community apart, well, I guess I will then be part of it destruction.

While I can not speak as to what others do, I can say that we, as a group, do not try to deceive people, and we do not hide behind a group of lies.

Take a look at Trey's website with the unofficial inserts.... Take some of the inserts displayed there. Ganryu, all handrawn original art Trey created for himself and is sharing for the Neo community. Same thing with Flip Shot, all handrawn original art.

I would also list Digger Man, but SOMEONE in the Neo Geo community is trying to cause trouble with this game. And it is definitely someone in the Neo Geo community because some facts in certain emails should never have appeared together unless someone was feeding the info.... Maybe you should find this culprit, and this person will be responsible for some of the rips in the community..... I have a theory that the culprit is not one of the four in your list...

Then there are other inserts with artwork used from other various sources created by myself and Jeff, and other project people are working on.

Besides the stickers, inserts, and manuals, others are working on figuring out how the Neo works to program games.

All of this work is out in the open, no cloak and dagger routines.... Digger Man, whats its origin? Well, from some posts here obviously someone *THINKS* they know, but then they do not *SHARE* this info.
Maybe this lack of sharing info is what tears the Neo Geo community apart...

With SNK gone, the Neo Geo community needs to have one vision, to keep the system alive. Anyone who is playing profiteer to take advantage of this is obviously out of this vision. The best example of this I can give is SpoonMan....

So, Mike, how do I fit into your post? Why is my name drawn out? What did I due to deserve that place?

My only beef with Dion (or NGF) is their hidden lies. They are the ones that are behind the threatening emails of lawsuits. They may not be directly doing it, but they are feeding lies to the people that are. I wouldn't expect you to understand this since you're not the one being threatened by these lawsuits. You're not at chance of loosing something because of someone's lies. This is how Dion operates, and people need to see it.

Other than that, I have no problems with NGF. They offer a great service -- to those that can afford it. Some of us on the other hand are offering the same thing (inserts/stickers/manuals) for a fraction of a cost (free), and if that rubs NGF the wrong way, too bad.

If there is something you want/need from Dion, I would highly suggest using an escrow service.

Personally, I would never send Dion $$ for a game. That's just because I've been around long enough to know how he operates.

Everyone needs to make their own judgement, and the only way to do that is to have both sides of the story.

JMKurtz, if this is true than I can see why you are acting so badly. But do you have facts to back up your claim? You should not slander for no proven reason. How can you say bad things and then say they NGF has great service? I see something strange going on here. Maybe your team feels threatened by NGF? Maybe you are trying to make NGF look bad. I am just making the same point you are. Don't attack me now. Why can't everyone just act like adults and not like school girls in the 7th grade?

Don't get me wrong. The inserts/stickers, and sometimes manuals that they [NGF] offer look great and do make a collection look nice. That is not my argument with Dion/NGF.

My issues with them are the backhanded way they lied to have some guy threaten lawsuits. I endorsed them [NGF], sent business their way, and even praised their work when others asked about it, and this is how they repaid me.

NGF doesn't need any help looking bad, Dion does a fine job by himself. He is a master of deception.

So why dig up this old Post? If anything I would have preferred to have this buried and forgotten. All this is doing is dragging Dion's name up back here when he hasn't been really spoken of these last few months. Dion loves this attention of sorts. If you're going to flame him try to smack his with some of the things he's done VS the trash he talks. You might find you just made some newbies curious as to maybe buy some games from him becuase they don't KNOW any better...
